Sort of, I'd rather have BJ Hill or Lorenzo Carter at their age with their skill sets for this 3-4 but God bless him for not giving up after a huge huge mistake. He did some dumb shit while he was here but I will always have fond memories of #90. Best of luck JPP.

I was actually watching 2011 week three Giants at Eagles. JPP bull rushed the LT and the rb helping out into the qb(Vick). Vick escapes that, scrambles around only to get smacked by JPP who never gave up pursuit.
Those days are long gone. I don't know what happened whether it was injuries or the big contract or a combination, but he didn't sustain the same intensity of that 2011 season.

That's not really fair. He has a great 2016. 2017 was much less impressive but that's true for everyone on the team. He still led the team in sacks and was at or near the top for number of snaps.
It seems like the 2011 season was more who he was playing with as opposed to pure talent.....
He was decent against the run......but too many times he was stopped in his tracks by a T who gave him a shot.....he was a speed rusher with no moves.....
In many big games, the guy was just plain invisible....
He was holding his kid when this happened. Then he tried to hide it from the Giants. Kudos to him for posting the pics. I'm glad he's gone.
Don’t think you’re remembering correctly. I don’t remember that at all and don’t see how it’s humanly possible to hold a child and light a firecracker at the same time.
The extent of he injury was downplayed. He really has no hand left. This definitely hurt JPP's ability to hold the Edge against the run. He can still pass rush though, but now I understand the reason for the trade to the Bucs.

Coming back from this was no small feat. I hope JPP finds success again in Tampa

Both of those statements are incorrect.
Unless he has three arms I don't even see how that is possible.

at the same time, how dumb/careless are you to let this happen to you.
Glad he is using this to drive awareness. But I dont think stupid people learn from these and smart people already know.
