NFT: Ant-Man and the Wasp (non-spoilers)

NYG27 : 7/6/2018 1:50 pm
Very fun film and really enjoyed it a lot. Great job by the entire cast and adding both Laurence Fishburne and Michelle Pfeiffer were solid additions.

There are two end credit scenes for those interested.
Looking forward to it

I don’t like the larger MCU stuff worth Thanos and all that but the smaller characters are right up my alley.

Does the movie address what is going on in the larger Marvel universe or is taking place before the events of Avengers infinity war
It was my understanding that this movie takes place before

infinity war in the timeline.

They do address it and it is not before. If I say any more I feel it will be a spoiler.
I saw it last night.

I loved it. Really funny, entertaining, good scenes, a bit too silly at points, enemy was not as strong as I'd like, but really strong movie overall. Takes place before Infinity War, but ties into the larger universe at multiple points.
Serious Question...

How can you "spoil" a superhero movie?

Spoiler Alert!!! The superhero overcomes some BS challenge and beats the bad guy.

Yes, it does address it all. Any more info would be spoiler-ish.

Marvel just gets it right. They can make a fun summer movie with plenty of action and laughs while still expanding the universe with new characters and ideas to draw from moving forward.
DO NOT stay for the second end credits scene. It’s dumb

and pointless. Marvel end credit scenes are really becoming a waste of time.
Enjoyed the movie, although not one of Marvel’s strongest.

Plot was a bit thin which leads to a bit of repetition to draw things out. Paul Rudd is great as always in these types of roles. Overall, it was entertaining.

It was a scene they showed in the trailer, so nothing new and a disappointment.
Saw it a second time

Really a fun movie. Plus from what Ive read about possible future MCU storylines, the Quantum Realm, will play a big part. They're using Ant-Man to introduce it to the fanbase.
