My wife and I are going to make a trip to Yankees Stadium to catch a night game, and then a day game(7/20 & 7/21). We went years a few ago and stayed in Manhattan. Getting to and from the stadium was far from ideal. However, it was a nice pretty nice location to be after the games.
Where are the best areas to stay, options of stay (hotels vs. VRBO...etc), and the easiest transportation to and from the stadium?
