I hear ya man and for the life of me I just don't get it.
Judge is one of the big stars in the game with a damn good eye. I'm not expecting them to give him calls because of that but I sure as hell expect them to not make so many bad calls against him. Just make the correct calls on him for fucks sake.
To tell you the truth I am actually surprised whenever they don't score 4-5 runs in a game.
Really what?? The offense has been dreadful with RISP german pitches a great game and they couldn’t score for him against a rookie pitcher
I would've thought my post was pretty self explanatory but let's see if I can make it a bit easier to understand.
They have an offense that is capable of scoring a lot and usually does. I am surprised when they don't. Regardless of who they're facing or what they're doing lately with RISP, I'm still surprised when they don't score at least 4-5 runs in any game.
I'd think Green and Robbie could still pitch an inning tomorrow as they both only threw 10-11 pitches today. Glad to get it over in 10 and not have to use more of the pen with the double header coming tomorrow.
I'm calling it now, bats come up big at Camden Yards this week, and ride into Cleveland with some momentum and feeling strong.
But winning a 1 run battle of the bullpens with 4 scoreless and we didn’t use Betances or Chapman is impressive. Warren’s been mostly excellent since coming back

Yeah that's a great point.
I also didn't think Warren was at his sharpest or had his best stuff, but still sacked up and got the job done.
It's one thing when guys have it all going and make it look easy but it's real impressive to me when they don't have it all yet still get it done.
I was also impressed by German getting through the tight spot he was in about midway through the game and how he responded to giving up the solo HR. Positive experiences for him and bodes well for him in the future IMO.

All good stuff...I’m only going by the box score as I didn’t watch, but that’s a big start from German, considering how depleted our rotation after Sevy and CC is right now
German was good again today. He looks like he's getting better and better. I already trust him a lot more than Gray.
Rotation really needs Tanaka back.
Glad Boone didn't have to go to Chappy today - I was a little worried about that when I heard he was available. Good to get Dellin a day off too. I'm sure he'll be needed tomorrow with the double header coming up.
Judge was just announced as a starter in the All-Star game, Â
In fact, I'm starting to think Matt Harvey might actually be a pretty damn good target - crazy to say. But he's really pitched pretty well over his last 4-5 starts now and looks like he's getting back on track. Have to assume the cost wouldn't be terribly high as a rental from an NL team and there's more upside than there is with guys like Happ.
Ranked 22nd in baseball with RISP. Yes I’m intelligent enough to know that
You are taking to a wall on here when you complain about the Yankee offense do not even bother you will not win any discussion when it comes to the offense and they better beat up on these crappy orioles starters they are throwing at us the two games tomorrow and Tuesday even Bundy Wednesday has not been good, and yes I’m greedy we better take all 4 games Red Sox have no trouble beating these crappy teams!!!!!
Take hamels and happ they might even come cheap now they have been pitching poorly the last few starts but they are on crappy teams maybe the motivation is not there and they would be a lot better on a contender. Still better then Sonny Gray

And he just called a better low ball to the Jays #9 hitter a ball. That pitch was better and higher than any of the two he called on Judge.
Kid deserved better today and some runs here would be nice. Give him a shot at a win.
Really?
To tell you the truth I am actually surprised whenever they don't score 4-5 runs in a game.
No intelligent thought
No surprise here

Yeah we could use one right here.
Never mind. I'll take the pick off

The Yankees have an easier schedule as far as opponents win % remaining, Boston's opponents have a .500 winning percentage and Yankees .475
Boston has 6 more home games than Yanks do though
Yeah that's a great point.

MLB puts up everybody's stats when you vote for the all-star game so it improves outcomes
Severino has a really good chance to start as well
I was arguing with someone here recently saying I didn't want him. He's been dreadful his last few starts.
Last 3:
10.2 IP, 23 H, 18 R, .418 BAA, 11.81 ERA.
Yuck. I hope he's not even on Cashman's radar.

Happ has been awful lately as well

Is he the one who writes in one long paragraph?
If so, I'm glad I just skip over those posts whenever I see them. I get a headache just looking at them, can't imagine actually trying to read one.
