I love speedy guys. Not to mention he has a great glove.
Exactly my thinking too. He just needs to not be an automatic out. If he can hit .250 I think he sticks. I'd definitely like better than that but he just can't be putting up week long 0-fers.
Everything else he does is A+ so here's hoping this time around he's more comfortable and productive at the plate.
RE: And Frazier is earning a bus ticket to Scranton Â
He needs to relax. I think he's definitely thinking too much about that bus ticket. Seems like as long as Hicks' legs might be barking Frazier is needed and safe.
A couple of hits tonight would go a long way to him just relaxing and playing like he's capable of.
Romine is hitting a robust .158/.195/.211. Regression to the mean is a bitch. Oh, and not a single attempted base stealer thrown out since Sanchez went on the DL.
Now can people who were calling for Sanchez, even a massively slumping Sanchez, to be benched for Romine see how silly that would have been?

Remember that guy who called for SAnchez to be traded and Romine to be slotted in as the starter? Oi vey
is going to make sure that the word gets out that the Yankees are interested and pursuing his guy
before the deadline so they are "in the mix" in the offseason market for his guy
So true and I'm sure every top agent has his go to media guy they use to get the word out.
I did read something earlier from the SF Giants news and sounds like they might be sellers. Seems like everyone but Posey could be available but I still have a hard time believing Bumgarner goes anywhere.
If they are even tempted to move him, that has to be Cash's first phone call and really give them something to think about. Tempt the hell out of them!
agree. If Bumgarner is remotely available, that's the one to go all out for. Young playoff seasoned and very good. That move makes us tough to compete against for years
Thing is he didn't really conserve the pen all that much. More like he brought Holder in at the wrong time. If he starts the 6th with him or when the lead off guy got on, nothing changes in what he gets out of Holder. Still ended up getting three outs in the 6th from him, just a bit too late.
Definitely makes it more annoying for me too but gotta let it go, and hopefully Boone learns from it. Go for the win when it's there.
Fantastic outing for Cessa. Sort of makes the first game so much more frustrating, but we need this game and that's all that matters now. The pen should be good to hold serve for 9 outs here with the 4 run lead.

I'm hoping for a few more tack on runs and let Gallegos finish it up. Love to get Chapman another day to let the knee rest.

Got you those runs. :)
Gotta luv it.
Singleton on with the great foreshadowing call once again. How cool was that?
Turning into a nice little laugher here - won't have to use the big guns out of the pen now.
And once again, why you play them one game at a time. Sorry, I'm just still bummed over game one. I'm sure it'll pass by tomorrow but tonight not so much. Lol.

That poor second base bag...
I don't know about that. Unless there's an injury he doesn't have a spot to play and it's not like he was tearing it up while he was here.
I think it's more likely he gets included in a trade than back up any time soon.
For shame.
Got him with the change. Kid's got a good one and not afraid to keep throwing it. Got Bird with a few too.
I'm with Singleton though. He's gonna hang a couple and they're going to get crushed.
Is he supposed to be very good?
Yeah. That report has got to be talking about as a free agent because a trade doesn't make much sense any way you look at it.

Not until 2020. He's due to earn 12 Mil next year and then he's an UFA in 2020.
I'd still give up a nice package for him, and then work on resigning him.
