what's everyone playing these days?
I've been all in on Switch, currently playing Hollow Knight which has been incredible. Would like to beat it by the weekend as Project Octopath comes out on Friday which will consume the next 60+ hours of gaming for me.
Just saw that Wasteland 2 is coming to switch, trailer just released today. No date yet on when it launches but hopefully its holiday. I've read BBIers in the past rave about it so I'll be picking it up when it launches.
I preordered Smash and got it for like 48 instead of the usual 60.
As far as gaming for me, right now, I've been just plugging through Zelda BOTW. Best game I've ever player. It is amazing in every way and if you are into Zelda and open world games at all, you need to get it. I know I'm super late to the party, but I just picked up my Switch a month or so ago.
I basically bought the Xbox One a few years ago and played it like three times. The PS4 I got a little more burn out of but I figure if I can upgrade the PS4 to a Pro for not much out of pocket, that it was a no brainer.
Absolutely love the Switch, so convenient if you are a parent or always on the go.
I pre-ordered Octopath last week for that 20% off so i'm pumped for the weekend to get here. I'm travelling at the end of the month so the timing on it is great.
I still need to get back into BOTW. I played it a ton when it first came out then got sidetracked with life and haven't been able to jump back in yet. Such an awesome game, I'll get to it eventually.

Yeah, the majority of my gaming time is now officially on the shitter, which is extremely convenient.
I beat BOTW, then bought the expansion pack, which adds a ton of playability to the game, so I suggest that if you're trying to get back into it.
At this point in my life, I'm in a finish and then move on sort of mindset. So I'm trying to get to a pretty decent completion percentage on BOTW then will move on to Mario Odyssey, lol. I'm a few years back but, hey, it is what it is.
Can't speak highly enough of Hollow Knight if you like platformers.
Finished God of War a few weeks ago. I think it's the favorite for game of the year (it'll come down to GoW and Red Dead). The plot/narrative reminded me a bit of Last of Us, but a different take on that type of thing. Just a great script and atmospheric adventure but much much less "on the rails" than Uncharted games. Highly recommend it.
I'm working on Divinity 2 right now. It's a PC RPG, but doesn't need anywhere close to high end specs to run. Has a great plot, and really fun combat that reminds of Final Fantasy Tactics. Check it out if you like RPGs. It's being ported to PS4 and I think XBone too in the fall.
For the rest of the year, I'm looking forward to Dragon Quest XI (coming to PS4 only in the fall) and Red Dead 2 (PS4 and XBone). That'll likely be enough for the year. If Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night comes out in 2018, I'll get that too (Castlevania style kickstarter game from former game runner who separated from Konami after Konami went full on mobile games).
Different from what I normally like, but I'm into it. Last Summer, I took on Witcher 3 and it took all Summer. Wanted something a little less lengthy!!
I tried Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind. Couldn't get into it. Much preferred Skyrim

Pillars of Eternity 2 was a game I had my eye on. A lot of the same guys that worked on old RPGs like Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale.
Path of Exile is a really good top down, hack and slash RPG in the vein of Diablo but with skill advancement cranked waaaaay up. It’s free too, which is amazing.

great time killer
great game but taking a break. Need something new. Been trying Fortnite. Fun game but some guys are just too good. Also trying The Division. Just broke 30 so we will see how endgame is.
Man I put A TON of hours into The Division. Got it at launch and the endgame was virtually non-existent. They added so much to the game over the years and now it's a solid game. Really looking forward to the sequel in the spring.
What system do you play on? Im on PS4?
Sounds great, your loss.
Hollow Night does look interesting. It's a metroidvania type of game? Does it require insane reflexes? Sadly, even though I like the concept of the Dark Souls games, I'm just not good enough at them to enjoy.
Always on the lookout for cool new RPGs or coop games.

Re Hollow Knight, its a platformer with an unbelievably detailed world. The art direction and music are off the charts. I don't think you need crazy reaction time to be good at it, just patience.
