I DVR it every week, but I seldom am able to watch the full episode due to a lot of fast-forwarding. Why? Because every episode is either a repeat ("this year marks the ten-year anniversary of the Giants Super Bowl victory...") or the episode consists of stupid stuff like Brandon London visiting fancaves and Madelynn Burke walking 50 yards with players, asking boring questions.
We have a new coaching staff and a host of new players, including one of the most exciting players in college football history. Why can't they break down these new players? Show highlight reels of them. Let us get to know the newest members of Big Blue (and not by asking what songs they sing in the shower). I don't need to see what Kevin Boss and Aaron Ross are up to for the hundredth time. I'm looking toqards the future, not the past and it'd be nice if the Giants shared my enthusiasm. Geez, you'd think Coughlin was still head coach if you only watched Giants Access Blue.
Oh and more Emma Kaptein, please
As far as the actual show, I could never stand it. But its what...a half hour long? I agree that Giants brass should be pissed about the shows production. Hell, just this week....how bout a little profile on Sam Beal?! I couldve written an hours worth of subject matter focusing on Beal and the secondary in general.
Hey, Im trying to get out of my current line of work and have a writing background. Maybe this is my move!
I used to write to shows and they work with you
I am fine with a DVR'd game-only that I start watching 30 minutes late so I can bypass the commercials, and synch up with the live feed near the end of the game.
Emma - hot or not? - ( New Window )
I don't know, but I would wager that she has massaged more guy's taints than Eli has in his career.
If that's her at 10:28, then she's really had a lot of face work done and I have no idea why. She was really cute.
I routinely DVR every game, get off the golf course around 2:00 pm, and then zip through commercials.
I've come a long way from watching guys carrying refrigerators on their back on the Wide World of Sports, or going to a game and the coming home and re-watching it on the VCR.
Maybe it's age, maybe we have better sports programming or just better things in general to do than listen to some jocks scream "he got jacked."
Out of habit, I still watch "Giants First and Ten" and the camp reports on MSG but Access Blue was always pure fluff.

I think the NY market for sports talk radio is always divided against itself whereas phill doesn’t have the problem of multiple teams and balancing coverage for the sports fans. And they do a great job of creating a culture for fanatics on their channels. New England similarly delivers great 24/7 content on all channels - Giants unless they do it themselves are never going to receive the same kind of attention. NY by comparison has too many to please, too much going on to really deliver quality content all the time
The reason why this is not the case, in my opinion, is because the Giants like not being the center of attention such as the Yankees are. They've always had an understated, practically austere public image.

This. I live right in the split of NY and Philly coverage. The Philly coverage has put the NY coverage to shame for well over a decade.
Yeah, but it'd be nice if there was someone to break the highlights down. I just want the show to have more of a current flavor. It seems to be very lazily done.
