Very surprised about the timing of this one. Papa John's getting torn apart for CEO's comment and WWE says "hey now's our time to bring Hogan back"

They are saying he is reinstated to HOF, which does not have a physical location so its mostly about PR, using his likeness, and selling merchandise, but man this is a risky move in terms of backlash from the general public.

They were never going to ban him for life unless he killed someone. Hell, I'm surprised they waited three years but they must be ready to parade him around the ring to sell some tickets/get more people to buy the WWE Network.

Who does work with the WWE told me a couple of months ago that Hulk Hogan is coming back mid July. I kind of laughed it off, since he’s so old and irrelevant but it leads me to believe he really might be coming back in some way shape or form. Interesting.

meant to appease the shareholders. So long as Hogan had a pulse, they were going to eventually find a reason to bring him back.
