NFT: Joe Benigno accused of sexual harassment.

Lauren Lockwood, who worked at WFAN from 2006 until last July, claims the station’s executives tolerated a hostile work environment that subjected her to sexual harassment.

On various occasions, WFAN host Joe Benigno pressured her into having a threesome, the lawsuit, filed in Brooklyn state court, claims.

Benigno “whispered in [Lockwood’s] ear about having ‘threesomes’ with him and his wife and prostitutes,” the suit claims.

I remember Mike and the Maddog telling a story about Joe where he was caught with another man's wife in a taxi and the guy pulled him out of the car and beat the shit out of him right in the middle of the city. Something like that. The video might exist out there in the Yes Network archives because it was during the time the show was simulcast on Yes.

Loved this guy when he was on the overnight. He know’s everything there is to know about NY sports - like an encyclopedia of sorts. Now he’s absurd with his bro, bro, bro schtick, but he was great on the overnight. No idea where it went all wrong for him. Anyway, this can’t be good for Smithtown Nissan or Umbertos Clam House.

Probably half-joking, half-serious, seeing if she would bite. And that is definitely an uncomfortable work environment and constitutes harrassment imo.

But I highly doubt the reason she was fired is because she turned Joe down.
