I'm sure this is the nostalgia talking and probably even a little get-off-my-lawn-ish but they just don't make movies like that any more.

Some reason this line from 'Better Off Dead' stays with me. My top 2 though, are The Shining and Fast Times At Ridgemont High...... "Why you must be Mr Hand"

The Sure Thing is one of my faves for sure.

I probably should be embarrassed to say this, but I named my 1st son "Nick" (i.e. Nicholas) back in 91' because I so liked Cusack's bit about naming a kid Elliott.

Great, great calls on Manhunter and To Live and Die in LA.

There were a lot of great 80’s movies. Maybe not Oscars type movies, but just really good movies that have a lot of replay value.

epic movies ever, it's almost impossible to create a list because it will be too long. But I'll give it a go..

Comedies-Caddyshack, Trading Places, Porky's were some of my faves.

Action-Flash Gordon(really sentimental about that one, waiting for some kind of remake), Aliens, Batman, Raiders

And that's really just scratching the surface.
