RIP Ernie Palladino, always bubbly yet warm and caring, who once stood up to Lawrence Taylor. I truly will miss the “Wey Vincenz!” greeting I always received from him! Condolences to his loving family

Rest In Peace, Ern.
Press room was always better with Ernie in it.
Best of the best

Was a Giants beat writer for a long time on the Journal News and I believe he wrote a book about Lombardi and Landry's time with the Giants. If memory serves, he also wrote a book about the history of the Giants from the 80's on. I think he also was a panelist on Giants Online from time-to-time.

Heartsick over this news. Ernie P. was one of the first people to welcome me when I started on this beat 20+ years ago. He remained a dear friend right up until the end. Going to miss his "Howya doin' kiddo?" greeting he always gave me

When I was a lowly part-time reporter at The Journal News, Ernie treated me like an equal (I clearly wasn’t.) I never forgot that. This is a sad day.

He was always always consistent in what he reported, didn't stir crap and just told it how he saw it.
Terrible news

A real old-school sports writer. The world is a little less good with Ernie no longer living in it. May he Rest In Peace.

was a better beat guy than pretty much every guy on the beat now. Actually knew and understood football. A shame to see a good one pass.
