Saw the post on here a few weeks ago, have never tried it before for any pain or anxiety relief. On my way to family vacation in New England I was totally stressed out on the road, we were listening to Micheal Pollan's new book on psychedelics How to Change Your Mind - highly recommend it.
So we pull off to get some dinner and get out of traffic and there was a hemp shop right next to where we were - my wife encourages me before we've ordered "go check that place out". So I got a couple of vape oils and one that comes in a dropper thats chocolate mint flavored.
I've been partaking on and off for the last two weeks and I do feel it has helped relax me a bit. And my wife who usually has sleeping issues conked right out every night we had it. Could be placebo, because it is such a subtle change, I can tell / feel differences in my head / back tightness level though.
An odd thing happened on the way home - I had a moment of clarity after taking a couple dropper fulls of oil. I have no idea what caused it but between the oil, the seat heaters were on, it was pouring rain, good tunes on - I had an altered state of consciousness type experience. This is not THC so you're not supposed to get high, I wasn't believe me, but it was kindof a window moment for me that was extremely rewarding. It was therapeutic for sure.
Has that ever happened to anyone else? Pretty rad. Still thinking about it.
Yeah I mean I can totally tell it's there. But it's subtle.
Google Bluebird Botanicals. When I took CBD oil, I used this after someone on bbi recommended it and was always satisfied. Btw, they give discounts to veterans.
I got mine from Lazarus Naturals, I did tons of research and this was the highest rated and best value BY FAR. I got an 1800MG bottle for $63
These pods have THC and you can’t add your own oil.
Unless you bought CBD oil. CBD oil is legit.
Soon in MA you will be able to buy straight weed in licensed dispensaries, but last I heard only 1 retail license has been approved and it will be a while before it opens.

You can get them with THC if you want but they have CBD only pods also. I use one as we speak

I bought it in Mass and it seemed to be a legit place. The oil certainly is legit

most likely I think it's mostly placebo, from what I've read the CBD content in hemp oil is pretty low. Who knows though, if you're not experienced at all with CBD maybe that small amount helped.

In Mass today a hemp shop is no different than any other hemp shop in any other state. Hemp oil anywhere contains very little CBD. hemp oil comes from hemp seeds and CBD comes from hemp flowers (as I understand it and I'm far from an expert). So if something it hemp oil - it may provide you some health benefits or feeling, I'm not sure, but I believe it contains very little CBD.
the only place federally scheduled/illegal substances (like CBD, THC, Marijuana) can be purchased in MA is at a licensed dispensary and so far there are zero open. The first ones should be open by the fall.

100%. Hemp is naturally low in THC and CBD, so it’s mostly a marketing job. Hemp is dangerous because it absorbs everything from the soil it is in including pesticides and heavy metals. Farmers plant hemp in fields to pull all the nasty shit out of the soil before replanting. The flowers are main source of THC and CBD. Currently there is only one FDA approved High CBD, Low THC product. The DEA is rescheduling now.
I read a journal article that tested 180 over the counter CBD oils to analyze their ingredient claims, 96% came back false meaning that most of them had substantially lower amounts of CBD in them then on the label.
Funny how they market Hemp Oil as naturally low in THC, but forget to point out it’s also naturally low in CBD. They can’t have it both ways.
True CBD will eventually have a ton of legit uses, but it won’t be until their are strict growing protocols that all companies must adhere to.
Even though you can find it on the shelf at Whole Foods today, it’s is still considered a Schedule 1 drug and the DEA could crack down at any time if it wanted to.
It's good, they came up in my searches. Kat's Naturals, CBDistillery and a few others too. Lazarus Naturals was still the best value I could find.
