A consistent critique of his college play was "negative yards". They say he took too much of the offense on himself, and as a result tried to improvise or extend a play when nothing was there. The highlight plays were offset by too many plays where the defense was stacked against him and he tried to make something out of nothing and ended with a big loss (e.g. Notre Dame game).
Is he aware of this tendency and now that there are other weapons and hopefully a better OL will he try to dial back improvisation?
Q: Do you have a touchdown dance ready to roll when the season starts?
A: Yes I do.
Q: How would it compare with some of Odell’s dances?
A: I think our dances’ll be a lot different. Odell actually can dance. I’m not so much of a great dancer. I feel like when you celebrate with your team, that’s a fun dance. Other than that, I’m gonna give the ball to the ref.

If Being An Old Man Means Preferring Barkley's Touchdowns Â
There's only one time where a TD celebration matters, and that's when it's excessive/penalized and hurts the team.
Other than that, I don't care if there's some big scripted ordeal or the guy just hands the ball right back to the ref.
Barkley and Beckham have much different personas - Beckham is very demonstrative and emotional while Barkley is more level-headed and humble. But at the end of the day, I have no preference and don't think there's a right or wrong as long as it stays within the rules.
I'm really excited to see these two on the field together. I think they'll push eachother and feed off eachother big time and it's going to be really fun to watch.
Rarely read Serby. He’s awful. Is this worth reading?

I know how you feel about Serby, but this is well worth reading.
Looking forward to seeing him on Sundays.
He is a PR dream.
If all this translates to the field... Look Out :)
thanks in advance if you know.
And please save me the Jason Sehorn commentary...I am on my first cup of coffee still.

You were right. Excellent responses. Very mature, bright, poised. He has that Eli demeanor with the press.

I’m assuming you’re on your second cup of coffee by now, so this is cool, right?
