Concerns an Ohio State WR Coach's domestic violence and Urban's turning a deaf ear towards it and recently lying about it at Media Day.
A pretty well-put together piece of journalism by Brett McMurphy (ESPN), IMO.
Will be interesting to see if Urban survives this. Have a read.

The last sentence. The coaches were employees and Urban's wife is an employee at the college. If they ignored the employee committing the crime, then they are responsible
HAHAHAHAHAHA....now that is rich.
PENN STATE!!! GO SAQUON!!!
This was my first, second, and third reaction.
He'll survive, much like another individual accused of turning a blind eye to sexual abuse.

I wasn't referring to Penn State, but another prominent individual who coached at Ohio State who allegedly ignored some sexual abuse.
This. Dr. Nick Riviera on line 1

Hey as long as officials from Ohio keep reffing the game, OSU will be fine.
Turkey are very mellow
>A few days after Zach's 2009 arrest, Courtney said two of Meyer's closest friends – Hiram de Fries and Earle >Bruce – asked her to drop the charges. Bruce is Zach Smith's grandfather, de Fries is Meyer's "life coach."
That guy is still with Urban, and he is the guy that covered up shady shit for urban in the past.
edit:
>On a July morning in 2009, Courtney Smith sat across the table from de Fries, a former attorney and Shell Oil >executive. Courtney said de Fries pressured her to drop the charges.
That aint the first time he has been involved in things like this. The real story is there for any journalist willing to dig into that guy.

>"Zach once told me," said Courtney, "if he ever got fired and this all comes out: 'I'll take everyone at Ohio State >down with me.' "
this guy knows dirt. I expect Mueller to be speaking with him soon.
Wow. Wonder if Sciano takes over?

Ryan Day (OC/QB coach) is taking over.

IDK ... why is Meyer in trouble - because he might of had knowledge about an incident between 2 people who may have wanted to keep it private? There is a lot worse than that out there among the college ranks. What am I missing?

He may have lied to the university administration. Guess we’ll find out.

from the OP's link
"If Urban Meyer knew about the domestic violence issues, he may have violated his contract and could be fired with cause. The contract says he must "promptly report to Ohio State's Title IX Coordinator for Athletics any known violations of Ohio State's Sexual Misconduct Policy (including but not limited to sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, intimate violence and stalking) that involve any student, faculty or staff."
You saying Jesus Christ couldn’t hit a curve ball?
I think Paterno getting canned shows that a head football coach at a major state university cannot use their popularity to protect their job status if a sexual abuse scandal hits.

Thanks everyone - didn't realize that it was part of his contract and they already asked him about it and he lied to them. My reading comprehension goes down as my age goes up. I might need glasses - and I am not kidding.
Never underestimate the level of grime in college sports that universities are capable of.
I wonder if players can transfer without sitting now. Kind of like some of the ole miss players.
Come play for Greg Schiano!
