NFT: Anyone else named after a NY Giant?

I was named after my father's favorite football player, Brad Van Pelt.

Back in 2008, we were tailgating for a preseason game close to the stadium (not our normal spot), and there was a big Coors Light party going on. We were playing cornhole when one of the Coors Light staff overheard my pops call out my name. Person came over and said is your son's name Brad, we actually have a former Giants player over here who has the same name. Sure as shit, it was Brad Van Pelt.

My father was star struck (first time I had ever seen him like that), and when we got introduced, he said how he named me after him. Van Pelt got a kick out of it and we hung out with him for the next few hours. Really great guy, we took a ton of pictures. He gave us his phone number/address and asked that we send him one so he can sign it and send back. Unfortunately, we waited too long to do so and he passed away that February.

Still to this day after going to hundreds of Giants games, that is one of my greatest memories.

I have a golden retriever that I named Tiki. This was back in 2006 and I was between Tiki or Shockey.

middle name is Eli and one of my daughters middle name is Taylor.

Was born September 1991 (and 1 month premature) if you'd like to do the math.

When I met him, I told him about it, and he got a kick out of it. That's all I got.

My wife thinks it's named after a friend of hers,but Giant fans know better..

My 5 year old is Connor but those Connors never panned out

First son's middle name will be Eli. That's already been agreed upon.
