While the initials, and potential nickname of J.D. is great, I think Dominick Joseph sounds a little better.

I am in the Dominick Joseph camp.. but my wife likes Joey D! But then she caved in a bit... we'll see. This poll actually was her idea. She said to ask the Giants board, cause they are great in advice!

I think it depends how it would flow with the last name, and I'm sure you don't want to post that on here. Either way, both are solid choices. Good luck!

Just pick the name that feels most right to the two of you.

I would go with Dominick Joseph. At the end of the day either combination works out. He can decide as he gets older which he wants to go by. I know a ton of people who prefer to be called by their middle name/nickname. Cool choice of nicknames with either, Dom, Joe, Joey. Can�t really go wrong there. We were so torn with my son�s middle name that he ended up with two lol.

Just sounds better and more unique. Plus think of the much cooler nicknames (Do, DJ, Dommie-Joe, etc.).

Joseph Dominick flows a lot better to me. It sounds much more natural together. Would you call him by his first name no matter what? Or will you call him either Joseph or Dominick? If it's by the first name you might want to think what name you'd prefer he be called for the rest of his life.

Dominic Joseph all the way and DJ is better than JD..

the cruel nicknames he'll hear in grade school. "Joe Blow" vs "Dumb Dom", etc,

Because he will probably be called that a lot from some people.

This is a tough call. They pair so well.

Some some might even shorten that, and could call him Dee or Jay
Or maybe someone will call DJ- Deej
That sounds like too many nicknames one can't control.

Or we can take the sitcom approach:
DJ tanner from "Full House" vs JD from "Scrubs"
I personally pick JD from "Scrubs" he is a doctor, good omen

Now lets try the NFL route:
DJ Ware - not the best RB of all time but "He GOT a Ring" TWICE
JD - could not think of a notable one

Ok - now we go for Google Search - Who will have have to overtake to be the most famous person of his name or is there someone out there you do not want to associated with

My son is Dominic Anthony (After my father, not me). I would go Dominick Joseph. DJ sounds cool.
