Evening all,
My wife and I will be adopting an infant boy hopefully if all goes well in October. We are split between two names.
They are:
Joseph Dominick (wife's father and my grandfather respectively)
or
Dominick Joseph
Because my wife and I believe that those on here have great taste and intelligence (Giants for example), we were looking to see what were your thoughts.
Thanks and cheers! BTW, been watching videos of Barkley in practice... he looks fantastic, imho!!
Good luck with the adoption.
All the best to you and the new addition to your family.
Don't let your wife choose. It's YOUR son.
Then I prefer Dominick Joseph. I think it's more unique and "Dominick" sounds stronger than "Joseph." (No hate on the name Joseph, it's my brother's name.)
... seriously, a vote for D.J. here.
DJ - Disc Jockey
JD - Jack Daniels
Whiskies vs Music
This is a tough call. They pair so well.
Some some might even shorten that, and could call him Dee or Jay
Or maybe someone will call DJ- Deej
That sounds like too many nicknames one can't control.
Or we can take the sitcom approach:
DJ tanner from "Full House" vs JD from "Scrubs"
I personally pick JD from "Scrubs" he is a doctor, good omen
Now lets try the NFL route:
DJ Ware - not the best RB of all time but "He GOT a Ring" TWICE
JD - could not think of a notable one
Your right - this is tough
Ok - now we go for Google Search - Who will have have to overtake to be the most famous person of his name or is there someone out there you do not want to associated with
Joseph Dominick - Mass Media Research writer
vs
Dominick Joseph - Young Musician to secretly marries hot actress
After Analysis - My vote is for Dominick Joseph - JD
Domjo or Dojo if you ar into martial arts.
How bout Seven?
Joe's Pizza. Ever heard of it?
Quote:
Everybody loves a Joe. Joe is a good dude, a solid guy who is great to have a beer with and knows how to fix things. Dom sounds like he runs a pizza place, not that there is anything wrong with that.
Joe's Pizza. Ever heard of it?
Nope.
