Anyone have a good spot for basic pub grub on UES within 20 or so blocks of Sloan?

Jones Wood Foundry is a bit more than basic,

1st btw 63/64 -- seriously best mac and cheese in the neighborhood -- good burger and good cottage pie.

Baker's street on the corner of 64th and 1st is legit as well.

Lived on 65th for years now and highly recommend both

Melon's has a fabulous burger/cottage fries

Everyone says that, I've had it a few times. Drunk and sober and it doesn't compare to Minetta Tavern at all.

Corner Bistro also highly, highly overrated.
