Down 12 with five minutes left, and Eli went nuts. Maybe the best five minutes of his career, actually. Lots of high-degree-of-difficulty throws that he just dropped in the bucket. Manningham even dropped a game-winning TD, so Eli came right back and fired a strike to Ballard at the goal line, setting up a Jacobs run. I remember being kinda depressed that the Giants appeared to be wasting that type of "God" season from Eli, but they wound up cashing it in with a title.
I will say, one of the most important games for Eli/Giants was the final game of 2007. In a loss to the Pats (38-35), the team proved to themselves that they could hang with an undefeated juggernaut that was the Pats.
I really believe this was the moment the Giants became a very very dangerous team to others in the playoffs who were favored. Packers, Patriots, even Dallas.
That was the beginning for me, of post season "Eli" that we came to love in the months and years thereafter.
Spoiling the opener at Jerry World is up there, too. Â
I would probably put the 2011 win in Dallas ahead of the New England game. If they don't win that, the season is basically over.
As well as Eli played in Week 17 of that season (Dallas at home), the team was on fire at that moment. Romo played with a busted hand - we had little business losing that game.

Statistically a crappy game. But it was a game to me that sticks out a lot in the 2007 season. Manning was just coming off a brutal game and loss against the Vikings. He then proceeds to throw 2 interceptions (one i in the rz) against the bears. Down by 9 with about 11 minutes to go he makes a great comeback and helps the Giants to a win. I think that was critical win that season to stay in the playoff hunt.
I miss the 4th qtr comeback Manning. Despite how poorly he or the team played I always felt the Giants will win if they were within 2 scores in the final quarter. Haven't had the same feeling in a few years now.

Was at this game. Had endzone seats down close to the field, right at the endzone the Giants scored twice in the 4th to win the game. Cowboy fans were not happy.

It’s this and it’s not even close for Eli and the NY Giants. Best regular season moment. Period. Five minutes swung from no playoffs and Dallas on cruise control to the win that launched a fourth super bowl triumph. AND it sunk dalllas. It’s the perfect busted ass NYG regular season moment. Degree of difficulty, stakes and dramatics all rolled into one.
bearing on the outcome of the season, the 2006 win in Philadelphia comes to mind. Down 24-7 in the fourth quarter in front of 70,000+ paint chip eating shitheads and gets off the mat and puts up 17 in the fourth quarter to tie it and then in OT...

this was my first thought too. I watched this game, penniless, still in college, at a bar in Manhattan alongside an exchange student from London. This was the first game where he got american football.
There are a lot of good ones... most of which have been mentioned.
So, let's talk about a few games where Eli was brilliant but we ultimately lost...
1. Week 3 @ SD in 2005 - 352 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT
2. Week 1 @ DAL in 2007 - 312 yards, 4 TD, 1 INT
3. Week 13 vs. PHI in 2009 - 391 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT
4. Week 11 @ NO in 2011 - 406 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
5. Week 8 vs. IND in 2014 - 359 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT
6. Week 11 vs. DAL in 2014 - 338 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT
7. Week 8 @ NO in 2015 - 350 yards, 6 TD, 0 INT
7. Week 10 vs. NE in 2015 - 361 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT
8. Week 14 vs PHI in 2017 - 434 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT
Some of these games meant more than others. Some were utterly meaningless. Some of them Eli was fantastic but the defense was horrible. But we lost all of these games and not because of Eli.
We're going to miss 10 when he's gone... he's had a great career. I've probably never rooted as hard for him as I will this year.
Denver 2005
All come to mind.

No, they would not have made the playoffs.
Pierre-Paul was out of his mind in that game.
Like others have said, I should read threads before replying.
