they just showed it on NFLN, I didn't think it looked that bad, but of course i'm in my living room and sometimes plays that don't look that bad are actually bad.
He was better than Fournette a couple years ago @ LSU - I really liked him in this draft. But I liked Saquon more and am glad we got our guy. I don't root for injuries and don't root for him to be hurt... just sucks he's a Redskin.
injuries are so strange. The play he was hurt on looked pretty benign and he apparently was in good spirits in the locker room after the game. My friend tore his ACL a few years back when I was standing a few feet away. He knew right away what it was when it happened.

It really depends on the severity of the initial injury. You can have a minor tear to a full rupture and everything in between. A rupture will be much more traumatic than a tear. The lack of blood flow to that area also can make the injury relatively painless too, assuming there is no other knee trauma involved. Either way the end result is the same, ACL reconstruction.
Part of what makes an ACL injury require reconstruction is the aforementioned lack of blood flow/nerves to that area of the knee so it can't really repair itself. The only thing you can really do besides surgery is try and strengthen the muscles around to stabilize it, we saw how that worked out for Tannehill; a ticking time bomb.
they didn't slow it down much though.
Usually when news like that leaks out - it isn't good.
We'll see.

Derrius Guice off the trainers table and on the sidelines with his teammates.
Whatever it was doesn't appear to be serious.

Yes it was a good pick for them. We got the better prospect though. Carry on
He's a hell of a talent when healthy though. NFC East has a heck of a crop of young RBs.
Barkley might not see a crease like that all year.

Sad to hear the news on his ACL.
Id be fine if Barkley didnt take another snap this preseason.
I wouldn't play Barkley anymore in the preseason. Too much risk...
Granted, he is protected by the hand of God, but I'd rather just keep him from a situation where God may not be paying attention...
