Coach Shurmur: Jordan Williams was put in the concussion protocol. Kristjan Sokoli suffered a knee injury. Darian Thompson left the game with a hamstring.
Yeah, Thompson hamstrings do not move fast enough Â
and when he has, he’s been a clear weak link. I’m really intrigued by having more of a CB/FS type coverage player play back there anyway. Hopefully Riley can heal up and get into the game and see what he can do.
on Ogletree, think both you guys are accurate: TTH's comment re. Njoku blowing by him, absolutely, slow to react, and when he belatedly did, he angled for where the TE was--on about a perpendicular to the sideline--not where Njoku was a nanosecond later, about three yards downfield from that point and leaving #52 in the dust.
Slow to recognize, slow to react, slow to close and too slow to chase. Bad look all around.
It let players play themselves off the roster. I felt , we babied drafted players and kept them around when they just couldn't consistently get on the field for whatever reason.
Linebackers and safeties look slow, barely, in the same camera coverage of the free running players on the opposing team with the ball, heading to the end zone.
The guy they just signed, Basile, might be an intriguing pick up. Maybe he can challenge?!
Agree with you on this one sir. I daydream about having a healthy Kenny Phillips back there with him sometimes. He is only 31 YO right NOW. So sad.
...a little late when Ogletree got burned by David Njoku on a seam route for 6.

Do you know the coverage and what his responsibility was? I know Ogletree took a bad route...

Another lousy third round pick by the previous talent gurus. HTF did they last as long as they did ?
Because they hit on Odell!! What a joke
Our back 7 is "average" but the depth is not strong or even adequate.
You mean Reese 3 are pick

The bigger problem was Ogletree letting Njoku blow right past him in the first place.
Slow to recognize, slow to react, slow to close and too slow to chase. Bad look all around.
If Thomson can't "go" he should go....
He played. Saquon credited him for his blocking.
Yep, that is it! You got it. Just trade all our 3rd round picks. Did you stay up all night making that analysis?
