Glad Mets hung onto him. A DeGrom, Thor, Wheeler and Lugo top 4 rotation looks solid for next year. Also like the way Rosario is coming along lately and McNeil looks good. Let’s see what Alonso can do in September. All of a sudden, brighter days don’t look too far off. Need an innings eater and a power right handed bat in the off season. But it is the Mets so who knows.

They're at an inflection point and it could go either way. Hopefully this time they don't settle for Art Howe.
The combo of beat writers liking to stir shit up and the Wilpons being batshit crazy makes it hard to remain even keeled.
The funny thing about most of the beat writers is they were all (except Rubin/Carig/Sherman) afraid to say anything about the Wilpons over the past 7-8 years and now every other day there's a story about how insane they are.
I love the way Wheeler is pounding the strike zone and if he keeps it up the staring pitching is pretty good.
Still need an OF 3B and catcher. And whole New bullpen

It's been a frustrating season, but the rotation lynchpins give this team a chance to bounce back strong next year.
