for some reason they had a linebacker lined up 10 yards away from Njoku and they asked him to cover him one on one. Had to make up 10 yards before he even got to him. And on the other side of the ball for some reason (in a preseason game) Eli chooses top not even make one throw to the tight end. Engram is a stud, but we need to get him the ball. And Eli needs to spread the ball around, something he has never been really good at.
Pat Kirwan reported while he was interviewing him live an NFL person texted him and wanted him to ask the kid how much he loved football.
Any saying one or the other is premature. Engram looked better last season. Let’s see year two for both. Placing a lot of emphasis on Thursday is just strange IMO
When in year one Njoku did lead Engram in games played while Engram doubled Njoku's receptions and almost doubled his yards. Engram also had more touchdowns, but yeah Njoku had a good showing in a meaningless game that had no game planning so all of the data points to him.

Njoku will definitely be better
Yep. We should act quickly and trade Engram for Njoku straight up right now, before the rest of the NFL figures it out.
Njoku looked good, definitely a physical specimen Â
A big part of it is who their QB is and what offensive scheme. If EE only has Webb throwing to him for 10 years DN would have way better numbers. That’s the reason DN’s numbers were not good last year. (They both drop too many passes.)
If it was between the two I am going Engram . I think he will
consistently put up better numbers not saying that Njoku
can't be dynamic but Engram is the better receiver .

I think it was on the safety, who was late getting over. I would hope the scheme wasn't to have Ogletree cover the TE all the way downfield.
Engram had a much better rookie season and the Browns have been disappointed with Njoku thus far, FWIW.

Engram is quicker and a tad faster though , better route runner also. Overall a slight notch or two more athletic
A tad faster? Engram ran a 4.42 40 yd dash compared to Njoku's 4.64 at the 2017 combine.

I hope this batch of TE's is legit
I was wrong. They serve a purpose to identify posters with a horrendously low IQ

Haha very true
He's very athletic but a little goofy. Engram is the smoother and more explosive athlete with better body control.
Njoku is a matchup problem but I'll bet on our guy.
A lot of folks aren't so good with the big picture around here. We can only analyze what's in front of our face at that exact moment.
Did you just watch the Giants for the first time on Thursday?
Absolutely 100% correct statement.
Agreed.
Meanwhile for some reason our own fanbase downplays Engram's undeniably productive and encouraging season.
