I keep reading about Jimmy Butler and Kyrie wanting to join forces and knicks being on the list of teams. Let’s assume knicks can rid themselves of Lee and Hardaway’s contracts and they end up stretching Noah. I know this is not going to be an easy task and I am not saying I even want Butler and Kyrie, but let’s assume this is the knicks plan.
Where would you rank a team with this team in the east and what about overall NBA (again huge hypothetical):
Assumed starting 5:
PG - Kyrie
SG - Frank
SF - Butler
PF - Knox
C - Porzingis
Bench
2019 lottery pick
MLE
Robinson
Dotson
Burke - assuming he is resigned
Dotson
Veteran SG
IDefensively really good at 3 of the positions, weak at PG and Knox is an unknown. Im guessing this would be a top 8 team in NBA and top 3 in th east. But def short if the top tier. Obviously knox and Robinson are unknowns and so is Frank.
Porzingis
Knox
Butler
Irving
?
Frank Ntilikina PG
Kevin Knox SF
R.J. Barrett SG
Mitchell Robinson C
And stop bring in injury plagued or old talent.
Let them devlop together first before we spend on talent?

You are in a better position if you wait another year and go after Giannis Antetokounmpo.
More like Durant in 2019 and Davis in 2020. That would be some big fucking men in our lineup...
If Frank fails to work out in 2018 then you draft a point guard with the lottery pick we get in 2019
