Is there a way to see a video of Tyree’s helmet catch from a perspective behind Eli? Descriptions say Tyree was wide open but by the time we see him on the broadcast Harrison is all over him. I’d like to see what Eli was seeing once he broke free from the near sack.
I just checked NFL game pass and it only goes

"to a wide-open David Tyree who, makes the catch!". Unless I am remembering it wrong. Not sure about the all 22 but all the angles I saw showed nobody in front of him so he had great position. The ball was high which the only thing that made it a contested catch. Tyree had to sit still and wait for it which allow opposing players to close on it.
Pretty sure he was wide open,

but the delay in Eli escaping the sack, combined with the high pass, allowed Harrison to get there just after the ball. Remember, NFL 'wide open' isn't what some people think of the term - the separation may not seem huge to a fan, but if it's enough for the WR to make a clean, uncontested catch, it's basically wide open by NFL standards.
He was wide open enough....

For Eli to get a 35 yard throw in there before Harrison could close on him.

There are some good angles of it on regular film. Either Harrison was playing zone or thought Eli was going down by sack. He knew Tyree was there, but did not move until after the ball was released.

That may be one of the big remaining question on that play. Why was Tyree given so much space?

As I recall, New England was in a cover-2 and there was a blown coverage on Tyree leaving deep middle of the field wide open but Eli was busy escaping and got the throw out way late.

I was there, that is correct. Tyree settled in to the spot and defenders closed in as the ball was in the air.
