Giants 2007 @ 2011 superstitions

Figured since most of the conversations lately have been talked about ad nauseam.... I'd find something fun to talk about.

I don't know about you but I'm superstitious when in comes to sports.

The 2007 season, starting with the end of season Patriots game, I wore a skin tight Old Giants helmet shirt (only giants shirt I could find at my Dad's house while visiting) while drinking Crown and 7. That skin tight giants shirt and Crown won us a championship, I'm sure of it.

In 2011 I opened an early Christmas present from my sister. Was a long sleeve, vintage Giants shirt. I started wearing that during the Jets game on Dec 23rd. All the while sipping on Keystone Light (leftover from a party the previous weekend). Blue Giants shirt and Keystone light won us the championship in 2011.

Would love to hear a story or two about your superstitions.

My old man & I usually talk post games, but we talked at halftime of the Bears, @ Eagles, & @ Bills games. All wins. Somehow, I remember that prior to the Bucs game & made an emphasis of calling him at halftime of all the playoff games, which we obviously all won.

Had a NY Giants Christmas tree ornament that I left up on display

throughout the playoffs each of those two years well after the tree was taken down. During our move to NC the ornament was the only one in a large box of ornaments that broke during the move. Bought a replacement but it does not have the magic as evident by the Giants loss to the Packers in the Wildcard game

with my sons in the same east at the same sportsbar. Brought poker chips to every game and before kickoff pushed them across the bar and said "I'm all in".
It was definitely the reason we won!!!

First son, 1-day old holding him while Burress was undressing the GB secondary.

Second son, kinda messed up having Thanksgiving dinner that day, and still didn't pop out until 2-days later. But settled for the 2011 super bowl.

I have two daughters as well - not having anymore, so don't ask.

I went to the redskins game December 18,2011. I sat next to Senator Chuck Schumer and I told him " After this loss to the Redskins, I am done shaving my beard this season and the playoffs until their next loss. When the Super Bowl victory is done, I will shave my beard." Needless to say, I didn't shave my beard until the super bowl victory.

Please tell me...
