Man it make same want to go down there and slap hands with the boys. I miss playing football.
I really hope this team can go out there, erase the Eagles gifted Super Bowl by the referees and set the tone for this. We need to wear our white jerseys in week 1! Erase the garbage of 2017 and pick our head sup as G-Men fans. Lets go!!

There have been two preseason games out of a new coaching staff and some new players. Preseason is a time of hope. It has not been through the crucible of a regular season where players get hurt, plans get upset, other teams exploit weaknesses, players get mad and disappointed. You won't know the culture until that happens. As for Shurmer, he does not come garlanded with success as a head coach anywhere else and outside of last year's miracle Vikings, he hasn't had a lot of success as a coordinator. In fact, his career to date screams second or third banana.
Now maybe he has learned a lot at his various stops and from his previous head coaching stints and will be a big success, but we don't know anything yet. You all thought McAdoo was the cats ass when he got here until the pressure was on and he crashed and burned in spectacular fashion. Shurmer has yet to prove anything.

I also like the decision making on a a macro scale and barring a couple of choices the micro scale as well. Not a fan of the Stewart sogning on it's face I believe it was an everpay for a guy with likely not much left in the tank. Also not a fan of placing Halapio with the first unit over Jones and frankly he's been terrible in the first two pre season games.

Made a lot of plays aided by ref calls, Eagles offensive line was grabbing all games. I know you want to sound sophisticated and all but open your eyes.
