Sights & Sounds From Lions Game...

M.S. : 8/20/2018 6:56 am
...from Giants.com.

Just a quick observation after two pre-season games. The Giants are playing tighter/cleaner football than I've seen in quite awhile, and it all starts with the fact that they're running the ball better and stopping the run.

May it all continue into the season!

Love the amount of interaction between the head coach

and the players on the sideline.

Also classic crack from the O Coordinator after Lauletta's TD "Where did you learn those moves from - Eli? You watching B&W film of Ole Miss or something?"
Shurmur seems very low key

I mean that in a good way.

The players ribbing Lauletta was nice to see.

They don't need the awful music in the background.
Be careful about making an observation

on the Giants in the preseason. It may only hold for negative comments, but many on here will tell you everything that happens in preseason has literally zero meaning.

Lol. This. These videos would be fine if not for the terrible music they've included all preseason. Sights and Sounds was the one thing Giants.com did right all these years, and the music is killing it.

Yup... music actually distracts from product. No need for music.

I was one of those in past years who thought that

the offense would be good in the regular season despite stinking it up in the preseason. Obviously, very wrong there. It could just be wishful thinking, but the offense looked much more competent on Friday, despite playing without three of its best players. Let's see how they do this Friday, but at least its encouraging.

I was not all-in on Shurmer, I was hoping for a up-and-coming type. I have been pleasantly surprised at the new regime so far. He just seems to relate to the players better. Again, I could be wrong.
