the problem was $. The Giants offered about $7M average and Hankins wanted $10M. I think he got that with the Colts. $27M over 3 years. At least he got his $10M which is too high for Hank.
still surprised colts cut him and even more surprised he didn't find a team. He played well last year according to the reports that came out when he was cut and looked the few times I saw him.
