Welcome to the "Josh Gordon screwed me edition"... shame on me for gambling on and being seduced by the talent of this tormented soul yet again. Thankfully I think my team is relatively stacked and he only cost me a 12th rounder in a keeper league, so I can recover.
This week I would have started Devonta Freeman or Josh Gordon in the FLEX. Both are out, so who do you think is the best play? Here are the most viable options
Jimmy Graham @ Minn
Kenny Golloday @ SF
Brandon Marshall @ Chi
Austin Ekeler @ Buf
Dede Westbrook vs. NE
Here are my starters
QB - M. Stafford
WR - O. Beckum Jr.
WR - D. Thomas
RB - M. Gordon III
RB - C. McCaffrey
TE - E. Engram
FLEX - ???
K - J. Elliott
DEF - Pittsburgh
Bench
RB - CJ Anderson
RB - D. Freeman (out today)
RB - A. Ekeler
WR- K. Golloday
WR - J. Brown (played Thurs)
WR - B. Marshall
WR - D. Westbrook
TE - J. Graham
IR spots
QB - C. Wentz
WR - J. Gordon
Should I bench amari cooper for Alfred Morris?
Should I bench amari cooper for Alfred Morris?
Morris splits with Breida, I'd still start Cooper as Gruden wants to get him more involved this week. Should get a good target share with the concerned effort Gruden wants to get him involved with.
Morris is in a timeshare and has very little value if they aren’t playing with the lead. He could have a good game of course, but I wouldn’t want to bench Cooper if/when he goes off.
That is what I am thinking. If you look at SF's schedule they face a ton of teams that struggle against the run.
Crazy enough I was thinking to start Brandon Marshall, since Baldwin is out he might be the no. 1 in Seattle, wildly.
But I see the talent of Golloday, it jumps off the page compared to the mighty mouse receivers Detroit has... This will be a tough one, I can see that SF game being a shootout, so Golloday might be a great play.

Not easy choices. I'd go Stafford because I think they have changed things up after last week knowing the Jets were stealing their signals but also because I think Indy's OL is banged up but I am not sure about that.
I would probably go with Cook although with Gordon out I can see Njoku being more involved. I have to give Cook another chance after what he did last week.
Peterson vs Colts
Jamal Williams
James white
Matt breida
Other league ppr pick two
Enwau
Burkhead
Carson
Barber
Lockett
Jamaal Williams vs MIN
Robby Anderson vs MIA
Kenny Stills vs NYJ
Jimmy Graham VS MIN
Evan Engram vs DAL
A bunch of players with similar fantasy predictions this week. My lineup is stressing me out, not only having Freeman hurt but BAL defense shitting the bed and putting me behind the sticks to start the week :(

Carson, although Lockett is intriguing.

You should definitely go James White, Imo. He'll get heavy targets this week.
In the other league Enunwa and Carson.

I am not playing any Packers today regardless off Rodgers playing. They already said it will be a short leash on Rodgers if anything happens. No way I am taking that chance so that leaves 3 players.
I like Anderson and Engram. With that said I don't like Stills as a number 1 but last week he proved me wrong so Stills and Engram? Engram could have had a huge game had he just held onto the ball last week. But that is the question with him.

Stafford and Njoku. I just think Stafford is a great play this week.
Kareem Hunt
Yeldon
Chris Thompson
James White
Phillip Lindsay v OAK (71 yards on 15 carries with a receiving TD)
Corey Clement v TB (2 points last week, but Tampa got lit up last week, and Sproles is out)
Really not sure on this one.
Kareem Hunt
Yeldon

James White
I'd sit Yeldon. Definitely if Fournette plays, but either way.
Phillip Lindsay v OAK (71 yards on 15 carries with a receiving TD)
Corey Clement v TB (2 points last week, but Tampa got lit up last week, and Sproles is out)
Really not sure on this one.
I'd sit Clement, with Sproles and Ajayi as much as I like Clement need to wait for him to pass them on the depth chart.

Agreed, but Sproles is our this week so it gives me pause.

hmmm ok I thought Fournette was out. I will need to keep my eye on that.
I didn't realize Sproles is out, I'm just getting back from yard work, need to catch up, sorry.
I like Clement a lot. I think it's a toss up, maybe sit Grant.
Rodgers is on a "short leash". I think I said this before but if I didn't I don't feel comfortable starting any Packer today. Rodgers is obviously not right. He is not mobile. It was reported this is a 2 month injury. He will have to deal with soreness and swelling. On top of that you are adding a somewhat short week against one of the best defenses in the league. Minnesota is not going to let up what Chicago did in the second half. They have a much better secondary.
His role becomes important and if Adams ever gets hurt, he’s a wr1.
I like galladay, but I think Tate is still the best fantasy wr in the team and jones will get his. Last week they were forced to throw a ton, most weeks won’t be like that. So....galladay, Gordon or Allison?
Now, I need a kicker and have to drop someone to do get one in the lineup. My choices to drop in a 1pt PPR leagus are...
Brieda or Tarik Cohen?
If Gordon ends up in Dallas it might be less than SF, but apparently DAL and SF are the two "preferred" destinations by him.
Allison also has upside, but odds of Rodgers getting hurt again behind that OL would have me lower Allison a little.
I might rank them (in terms of safe floor):
Golladay
Allison
Gordon
But upside might be the reverse.
so depends what your goal is IMO.
Strong yes. AP is gonna have a big week, IMO. He’s gonna get lots of action.
I give up Fournette, Yeldon and Stafford.
The other guy already has Brady and Lynch is his best RB and is looking for an upgrade.
My other RBs are Hunt, Thompson, White and I also have Ingram who comes back in 2 weeks.
