After watching the 1st 3 quarters, as a Giants fan feeling much better about our team. Patriots making a come back now but Jags D has made it very difficult on the Patriots and Brady has been getting knocked around. Their O has been very solid with no Lee, or Robinson or most importantly Fournette. Jags WR made an Odell type catch.
If we can fix a few mistakes from last week tonight might be the start of better things to come. We win tonight and the world will look a lot better with every other team in our division losing. Go Blue!
Good to see them taking it to NE
And the absolute dumbfuq bbi'ers who cheered this on. F*ck!

It's funny how Coughlin is given complete credit for all the good in Jacksonville, but isn't responsible for any of the bullshit that went down in NY.
...and he was the fucking head coach here.
The truth is somewhere in the middle.
He is partly responsible for the turnaround in Jacksonville.
He is partly responsible for the shit show that the Reese regime became.
But everything is always black and white with some.

Chose Reese, Ross, and Mcadoo over Coughlin.

Outside of any of that I think Coughlin had a long great run and the team needed a new voice & face in the locker room.
Turns out not Macadoo's but a new face nonetheless

TC wants size everywhere, he always has and we were drafting little guys and asking an inconsistent QB w/ an inconsistent OL to be "basketball on grass". Think back to our SB teams, Burress 6-6, Toomer 6-3, Shockey 6-5, Boss 6-7, Jacobs 6-4, Ballard 6-6, and even the 6-1 Hakeem Nicks was a big physical presence on the outside. Once we lost that, this team went into the tank and we have yet to recover. So Dave G goes out and gets a 233 lb HB, a 6-3 3rd WR, brings in bigs in Simonson and Shepard and Solder and Carter and Hill and the list goes on. He's changing the fundamental makeup from a little fast break group that Reese wanted to an actual physical team that he wants. It's going to take time, it's starting now and it's going to be up and down until DG's philosophy is fully in place. Right now this team is busted, but there is enough talent to at least be ok week to week until he gets this where he wants it.
And that Jacksonville oline really gave Bortles a beautiful, clean pocket.
Jax was an incredible 10 for 14 on third down. You aren’t losing many games with that %.
There's never been a game in the history of the NFL where neither team made a mistake.

They should have drafyed SB, his TD run jacked up the D to play suffocating absolute shut down Bortlesville. I'm banking on an AP or Beastmode affect from the kid.

It would be the GIANTS with Doug Marrone as head coach and Tom Coughlin running the football operations, not Jax.

With all of the 'what could have been' scenarios, I like this one best. Also would like to add that Gettleman/Coughlin may have worked out pretty well too.
With that being said, I do like what we've been seeing with the new regime so far. Let's judge them on their own merits.
Starts up front with the OLine and and it all begins with running the ball.
