But he does not seem to have the ability to change the narrative anymore....There are a lot of crap offensive lines in the NFL........This can't be all on them.
can't do much worse. I want to watch a QB that has a little fire in his belly. Eli left his in 2011
I’m 100000% on board with this. NOW is the time when benching Eli would have been acceptable. I’m a massive Eli supporter, and right now I’d be fine if they straight up cut him tomorrow. He’s clearly not going to get us to the next level EVER again. Let’s just throw Lauletta to the wolves. Sink or swim. Doesn’t matter. If he lays welll then goood on him and good for the team. If he sinks, it won’t matter because we are picking top 3 and can take a shot on the next QB.
Manning has plausible deniability -- maybe on a less awful team he wouldn't be awful.
But it is in fact an awful team and two undeniable truths 1) Manning is getting his skull kicked in and 2) the offense is incapable of anything.
Go ahead and take the satisfaction it isn't Manning's fault if that makes you feel better. But how in the world is him kicking beaten like a drum at 37 good for this team's future?

If we haven’t won a few games before the bye, you will probably see some Lauretta after the bye

“Hey Ben. This is John Mara. Just want to say....god damn it, Eli!....umm, excuse me...sorry about last year and how things went down. Tell everyone I said hello.”
As it's not that big of a deal. They sucked last year, so they suck this year so far. Maybe they turn it around
I guess it's not that big a deal. I mean, if you don't mind watching a team that's not in any way competitive, sure. If you don't mind watching them come out week after week to get embarrassed, why not?
Otherwise - one might be somewhat concerned that a team that has struggled in the same manner for years continues to struggle the same way, and that deliberate changes that were made that they'll be forced to stick with (Solder, Omameh, Hernandez) for more than this season look like they're every bit as bad as what they had before.
Someone might even wonder why, in a draft that was rated as one of the best QB drafts in years, drafting with the 2nd pick overall, they'd pass on a QB to replace their 37 year old signal caller, who even without confirmation of him being part of the problem will retire at some point in the not too distant future.
So yeah, if you're into watching a team that sucks, and will presumably suck for the next couple of years at least, you've struck gold.
Stop it. We’re all pissed at this debacle, but that’s plain stupid. He’s played a terrible game behind a lousy OL, but he hasn’t remotely quit.

We should get our franchise quarterback next year.
With all due respect you have no fuckin clue if that’s true.
I’ll say this for the one millionth time, there isn’t a franchise qb in the 2019 draft.
That is just stupid. Eli has never quit. You can criticize his play but not his dedication.

Than the fucking Cowboys? God, that's pathetic.
Trap game for the Coughlins.
First game of the year with a new coach. No film on what Shurmur/Bettcher would do.
2nd game, the league has figured them out.
Neither Bettcher nor Shurmur are doing anything they didn't do at their last stops. This is a player quality/execution issue.
It’s called throwing in the towel. I think they just want to get something going on offense
Not to repeat myself but Eli has absolutely quit.

It sounded just as stupid the first time you said it. Are you allowed to procreate?

Except for those Redskins games (and the Redskins look better than we do right now), at this rate this season is going to get ugly quickly.
Holy fuck, is there any team in that list that you feel confident the Giants can beat? I don’t see one.
Is there any team in the league you feel confident that the Giants can beat. Buff/Cle/Az? None of them.
You sir are a Fucking idiot. Please never post again.
Shouldn't you be scamming the elderly instead of wasting your time here?
Mahomes? WTF are you talking about?

There is.
Will Grier.
I don’t trust QBs from that Air Raid shit. Mahomes looks good. But I don’t trust it

Funny 😂
Yup!

I was a denier...no more
Tomorrow? why wait until tomorrow? Why dont you just cut him before he hits the showers tonight?
Holy shit you and the other guy in this thread should give each other hand jobs next week instead of watching the game.
