The game has passed him by...no QBs get a nice clean pocket with the state of NFL offensive lines today. He can't spin out of pressures. This team does not win, except by accident with Eli in there. The game has passed him by...he's too old.
Sorry but it's true.....
How does sams cock taste?
dallas had free rushers pretty regularly...
i agree he is on his way out, but geez this OL is REALLY bad.
I get other qbs improvise. but watching mahomes today, he had a VERY clean pocket most of the day

Darnold wouldn't have made any difference, and it would have likely been worse. Stop just beating the Darnold drum over, and over, and over. Will this go on every game? If he gets 2 picks per game on the Jets, here he'd get 4.
12 points against a bad Dolphins team.
Who cares?

Who cares? Im not the one clearly obsessed over another man. Every single post from you is about sam darnold. What attracts you to him? His square head or his great hair?
His OL can't pick up simple stunts and gave up pressure after pressure.
The only time Eli had a clean pocket was the first drive of the game and the final drive.
The rest of the time, he's making a split-second decision before a guy breaks free to sack him

We should clone you this week because the rest of this website thinks that if Eli was just elusive, he could spin away from free rushers every play.

I think him not being mobile is a huge problem with this line. NFL has changed. Oline play is shitty and qbs are more mobile now. Love eli but its over. They have to move on
But jfc, the Darnold stuff is going to become aggravating. Makes me want to root against him so the miserable fucks here who are slobbering over him can stfu
Hasnt that been the same exact response for the last 6 years now?
With an entirely different offense, entirely different coaching staff?
He’s a major reason why this team struggles to crack 20 points. Yes the OL is shit but he had guys open down field that he didn’t see, even with time. He felt imaginary pressure and dumped it off too quick. Papa and Banks said it a few times tonight on the call. It’s hard for people to come to grips with reality. And reality is, Eli is finished.

Agree, its almost like he cant diagnose defenses anymore..on blitzes he fails to make teams pay..there were plenty of open guys he just never saw tonight

It doesn’t matter if it’s a different offense or not. If your line can’t block a simple stunt of four or five rushers, you are screwed. If you can’t run the ball, you are screwed. Our big guys up front are the problem. The good thing is a lot of it is mental and getting to play together and communicate, so they should go from downright shitty to sorta shitty.
How is he suddenly getting our run-blocking for our RBs to be better than 14 times for 31 yards (2.2 ypc)?
How is Brady getting our offensive line to block 4-man rushes, or stunts, or blitzes, or well, anything?
Yes our billionaire owner is that beholden to the Mannings. Is this Game of Thrones?
Do we run stunts too? Apparently, that's all it takes.
Some of you guys are simply on drugs...he’s done.

By making better decisions with the ball..running game
opens up the pass and vice versa.

how we win this game or look good on offense if Tom Brady were under center tonight for us instead of Eli.

Kinda hard to make better decisions where there are defenders up your ass every play.

They can't even handle simple stunts.
I have to believe this is the worst OL in the league right now.
Perhaps there are some lines that are worse, but they might have a more mobile QB - but not effective thrower - that at least take some of the burden off their OL but in the end suffer from the same lack of offensive production.
Eli Manning can still throw the ball.......he needs time to look thru his progressions and it's simply not there right now.
Defensive players are either on him, collapsing the pocket, or at his feet and he just can't play that way.

I dont disagree, but good qbs make it happen. Eli cant make that happen anymore
I'm not convinced the Giants have the worst line in the league, i'm just not....this is starting to look more and more like Eli is the issue. If he had nice clean pockets on every play, then he's one of the leagues best. Without it, he's one of the leagues worst, and not every QB would be in the same situation. After this year, I say our debt to Eli is paid. This shit has to absolutely stop after this year......
2. Give Josh some time to reply. It's not easy with Darnold's balls bouncing on his chin right now.
Either way they win and we score less than 15 per game
This is a waste of time....
You can see the domino effect if you look closely, or even just fucking look at all.
Such as?
Can someone please show me these plays Eli left on the field?
Watson and Stafford didn't look so bad.
Not really a good comp for Eli.
We have more talent at the skill positions than DET and HOU. A lot more talent.

Don't make me go back and rewatch this horror show, but it's true.
You don't remember Eli throwing the ball 4 feet short at Barkley feet early in the game? With ZERO pressure on him?
Ok assume Eli is done. Assume Giants draft Darnold instead of Barkley at 2. Darnold would be halfway to David Carr status by now, too.
If their big guys kick our big guys’ ass in the run and the pass, NO ONE is succeeding at any meaningful level.

If we’re talking about the same play, there was pressure and Barkley was about to get lit up if the pass was accurate

Shep on a 7 route where he forced it to Odell well short of the first and later had Beckham wide fucking open in the end zone when he checked down. There were others. Papa and Banks were saying it all night on the broadcast.
