Pass rush jail breaks all game long. The offensove line played like they've barely met.... ahem.
Omameh looked particularly bad.
Most troublesome was the fact that Eli looked confused. The strength of his game has always included Pre-Snap Reads to stay away from disasters and a check to a better play. He looked unprepared for what Marinelli designed. They snapped the ball several times with an obvious mis-match at the front---pass rushers who were unaccounted for. That is a QB problem.
Lack of Prep...lack of Adjustment...lack of recognition...lack of a checkdown or timeout.
The O-Line wasn't alone in their futility. They were DEAD AT SNAP too many times!
They need to find ONE thing they can do,,,start there--it's THAT BAD!
No way we can execute enough plays in a row to ever score more than 1 TD a game...tops.
Eli was terrible partially because he looked completely unsure of what he was doing half the time from getting the receivers in motion, playcalls, line protections.
He missed a ton of reads on the defense. Some of those “free” rushes by Cowboys defenders were clear as day and not just on the OL. The QB has to help his OL to change the protection.
