Omameh- Garbage, can't pick up a blitzer. Gets pushed back every play.
B.W Webb- Shouldn't be on an NFL roster
Curtis Riley- terrible angles, no help in coverage
Kareem Martin- juked out by Dak, unblocked and missed tackle on Elliott's TD run. Meh as a pass rush. Seems like he gets a bit of a push but can't disengage from the blocker so its useless.
Rhett Ellison- I thought he was a blocker? He was horrible last night. A bunch of whiffs.
Shane Smith- See Ellison above.
Kaelin Clay- useless as a returner
Stewart- he shouldn't get any carries moving forward. Gallman should be the guy who gives Barkley a breather, than Martin.
Flowers is Flowers
Also disappointed in Collins. He seems to have regressed, doesn't make many impact plays.
Hernandez struggled as well, but it's his second NFL game. I'll cut him some slack.
I can't stand Clay the PR/KR, absolutely terrible.
B.W is an ok 4th/5th CB, should not be 2nd or 3rd. Deayon looked good, just missed that INT, at least he can cover.
To be honest, and I think Flowers is terrible, he really wasn't the problem last night.
Did he let up a pressure...yes. However it was not nearly the awful performance he had the prior game, nor some of his lowlights from last year.
Sadly, the interior 3 players seem lost when it comes to switches, blitz pick-ups, and frankly leverage. Their communication seems to be missing.
Flowers needs to go, but last night there were 5 Olinemen, 2 RBs, and 1 QB guilty of killing the offense.
I don't care if they bring Sharpe or Raymond back, either is fine with me.
It is shitty, and this team is just starting to pay for the giant mistakes we have made at the draft the last 5-7 years. When you miss out on 4 first round picks in a 6/7 year span, you are absolutely fucked. I do not see this team getting any better any time in the next couple years.
What is there to be excited about? No future at QB, absolutely no line (O/D), 4 studs at skilled positions that we are wasting away, we cannot possibly give ALL OF ODB, Shep, EE, and Barkley their 2nd contracts. We have to trade one of those guys instead of losing them in free agency for nothing. We have ZERO ORGINIZATIONAL DEPTH. Some of our starters are barely NFL players. The back-ups are back-ups for a reason. Just a big waste.

This is where we have set the bar so low that Flowers play last night wasn't that bad. It was pathetic, just less pathetic than it is normally.
BINGOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Webb's hair during the intros pretty much sums up how I feel about it on the field. No words...
My 4 year old son was laughing so hard at Webb’s idiotic hair during the intros. It was genuinely hilarious... whatever that thing is
I was shocked for a few seconds until I realized that Webb did that as a goof.
Hunter and Raymond much better than Clay.
We might need to cut our OL coach because it doesn’t look like the players know how to adapt to a stunt.
I am hoping that we make it through this season without any devastating injuries while fully implementing our new systems and fighting respectably to win as many games as we can with this group. I hope that the arrow points up and that people see that Eli can still play at a high level with protection. We need to fix the blocking. Not just the offensive line, but all of the blocking overall.
I hope to see our top resources finally spent on the offensive line just the same way Mara has been saying for several years. This problem has cost many people their jobs. Reese, Coughlin, Marc Ross, Kevin Gilbride, Mike Pope, etc... would all still be Giants if the line had worked out as they hope with they resources that Reese wasted.
I want to bring in the best guys we can find at LT, RG, and Center. Omameh and Hernandez could battle for LG, Solder can play RT, but I want more resources for depth and competition. The line must be stocked with talent. If any other players in FA or the draft are wanted we need to consider the line and blockers first. This must be our top priority.
By "blockers" I mean that I hope that we seek out some guys at TE and FB who really are very good at blocking. Preferably two vet FAs coupled with two young mid-round draft choices, who will be here to block. We haven't had that since Howard Cross & Charles Way were on the team. Going back to Bavaro & Carthon it has been a huge part of our running game to have some badass motherfuckers at TE & FB. We need to knock the other team in the mouth to protect our skill position players. I want guys who are willing to go to war to protect Eli and pave the way for Barkley.
