Is it Shurmur or Offensive Line Coach Hal Hunter? Something is going terribly wrong here.
Last week, you had Flowers mentioning how he thought the 6'8" 300LB Calais Campbell was a speed rusher. If he bothered to watch ANY tape on Campbell's career, or heck, look at his Wikipedia sight, everyone and their mother knows hes a skilled power rusher.
This week, you have Nate Solder coming out saying the Giants had no clue what the Cowboys were doing pass-rush wise. Boy was it evident with the COUNTLESS free rushers coming at Eli within 2 seconds. Simple stunts were not being picked up along with evident blitzes.
These are correctable mistakes, but mistakes that SHOULD NOT be happening at this level. Not with a new coaching staff that should be paying attention to every little detail.

This is Offensive Line 101 type stuff. Simple stunts year after year are just not being recognized and handled. Are our offensive lineman dumber than others around the league?
Does their IQ simply go to shit when they put on a Giants uniform?

i am not saying he is still playing at a high level or that he is even capable but this shit is straight UNFAIR.
i mean seriously, these guys are free rushers....
this missed assignment shit is no different than a WR running the wrong route. how come when a WR runs a wrong route ala rueben randle, we all kill him but when a OT misses an assignment, its eli sucks.
i understand eli is on decline, everyone knows it, but to judge him on this shit is ridiculous. easily the worst blocking performance ive seen
