That's pretty much where I'm leaning. I hate using TNF players if I can avoid it but Enunwa seems pretty safe right now because Darnold is looking his way so often but I'd rather use Goodwin if I knew he was all systems go.

I think it was assumed that he would get used in somewhat of a Tyreek Hill role. Looks like that's going to be Taylor Gabriel instead.

I was questioning this because apparently Kittle has become Jimmy G's favorite target while Eli... who knows.

TE is very weak so if Kittle can keep up his target share then he would be a trading chip. Why can't you roster both?

agree with Robbie, both Engram and Kittle are viable TE options.

arc - Definitely avoid Davis this week. I also avoid Corey Davis against Jax. It doesn't matter if he draws Bouye or Jalen Ramsey, I don't like that matchup at all for Davis. You can't rely on Gordon this week being he just got into the building and if he gets any snaps they are likely to be a low number. I really like Keelan Cole vs Ten. Cole is clearly the #1 for Bortles, and he really showed up against the Patriots and looked like a big-time receiver. I would play him and Enunwa, who is the Jets #1 and getting double digit targets from Darnold. In fact, I think Enunwa is approaching must start territory for most fantasy teams if he gets another good week on Cleveland.

EricJ - I think for your Kittle conundrum...I would slow down and take that week to week. You may lose out on Engram but I think Kittle is a very strong play this week against KC, and I like Kittle's role in the offense, as well as the 49er's overall offensive efficiency, better than Engram and the Giants. I think there is a good chance Kittle finishes a TE1 this year and Engram drops to #11-15 type of range at the position. I definitely love Kittle much more than Engram this week.

Give me Barkley all day. I am a big DJ fan but that offense is just so bad (as is ours). They cannot get DJ going and his whole career he was under a great offensive mind in Arians. Now? Ugh. It's a keeper league as well, we'll see what happens. I should've offered DJ for Barkley right after the draft. It was a bad mistake I didn't.

I would take Barkley.

Woods is the type of WR who you can flex most weeks but he's also a guy you can usually find a replacement for without too much trouble.

I'm thinking DJ may have a tough year there. The Cards offense is really, really bad. It is definitely as bad as ours.

Between the targets, rushing ability and the fact that he's going to manage to get into the endzone here and there, I would prefer to have Barkley. I think he's a sure-fire RB1 every single time he's out there.

Just a bit wary of DJ this year... even though it wasn't a leg injury, it's not always easy for players to be the same after missing an entire season.

I'm thinking he is going to ask for more. I'm actually considering sending both DJ AND Jarvis Landry for Barkley. But before I do that I'm going to try and send him a 4th rounder in the deal for a 7th rounder in return to try and make it happen.

I know it's a pretty big haul to give up, but I just believe in Barkley long-term a lot more than DJ.

The fact that our OL sucks so much is actually good for Barkley's fantasy stock.

We are also seeing more and more teams start to use RB's almost entirely as WR's.

Guys like Thompson, Riddick, Duke Johnson, etc. literally don't carry the football at all.

Thompson caught 13 balls on Sunday. Riddick was targeted 12 times, I believe.

CLE hasn't been able to get Duke involved but that's usually how they use him too.

CMC just saw a 15 target game as well.

Barkley is a better runner and built to actually bang between tackles which these guys aren't. But he's going to see similar target shares as well.

As I suspected, someone higher on the waiver list snatched them up before me. Now I am wondering if I should change my focus to the Browns D? As I described yesterday, I currently have the Ravens D, and I’d like to add another one so I can play matchups going forward. The Ravens really hurt me last week when they didn’t generate any points.

Who would you cut to pick up the Browns D?

Sorry. I can keep him for 2 more years by using a pick 3 rounds prior to where the player was drafted. I drafted Gallup in the 11th round. Next year to keep him, I sacrifice an 8th round pick and a 5th round pick the following year if I choose to keep him again.

with that offense, he's not going to be any more than an 8th round pick next year anyway at best.

I like Gallup but they probably won't make him that valuable this year so you can do better.

As I was typing the details about Gallup, I started to think that too. When I drafted him, I thought he had earned a starting spot. When the season started, I saw I was mistaken. Oh well.

Without knowing your team I have no idea how to assess but at face value I don’t like that trade at all.

Not really.

You don't get Zeke without giving up some good talent.

As much as I like Kelce, Zeke is going to be a more consistent performer, and I'm a believer that Burton is going to be a good performer for me. The guy that it hurts to lose is Diggs, I really believe he's going to have a strong year, but what I gain from going from Howard to Zeke is considerable. I know that some people think that Zeke is going to be a little down this year due to the Cowboys offense not having good weapons in the pass game. I am not of that belief. I believe Zeke is still going to be a top 3 finisher. I'll take my lumps if it doesn't work out but having Zeke and Saquon as keepers together for the next 3 years after this one sets me up very well both this year and the future. I love me some Golladay as well. The Fitz pickup is immaterial to me. But what it does do is open a roster spot for me to take Aaron Jones off my reserve list. If Jones really takes off in that GB backfield I will trade him for another receiver or a TE. I can also make a play for OJ Howard, Jared Cook, or Eric Ebron to supplement the TE position, all of whom are still available as of now on the free agent market. Once I activate Jones, however, it will be very tough to find a roster spot to make a move for one of those guys, so then a 2 for 1 trade such as Jones and Fitz for a guy like a Juju Smith-Schuster for example, would make some sense. There are teams that still are hurting for good RB play so as long as Jones and Fitz cooperate I think it will work out. For now I'm happy with the Tate/Golladay combo even thought they play on the same team.

Again, Diggs and Kelce hurt but it's not everyday you get a chance to get an Ezekiel Elliott on your team, and again, I get him for four years.

Pretty happy with it. I know if Jordan Howard blows up then I clearly lose this trade but the talent gap from Zeke to Howard is considerable. I'm a big Diggs fan, but a good trade has to conceivably help both teams and it in theory is going to hurt to give up the players you are swapping.

There is no way I'm getting Elliott for a ham sandwich.

I'm 0-2 in that league despite having the third highest points in the league. This could put me over the top or it could cost me so we'll just have to wait and see.

To me are all better fantasy RBs (obviously not in that order) than Jordan Howard, IMO, and the problem with Howard is he just doesn't fit that offense very well. I also have Michel waiting in the wings who I am bullish on.


So I don't have Howard as a top 10 RB, even though he may finish in the top 10 if he plays all 16 games because obviously some of these other guys are missing games here and there.

But is Howard going to provide top 10 fppg in the 2nd half of the season? I doubt it.

See if you can trade Chris Carson and Cole for a bit better RB. Perhaps a Mark Ingram, or even a Kenyan Drake. I don't know the rest of your assets but looking at what you do have I think that's the play. Carson is already starting to lose touches to Penny so it would probably behoove you to make a move right now before it's painfully obvious.

I don't think it was a horrible trade by any means, but in your situation I wouldn't have given up as much as you did. I think you weakened your WR/TE spots to get an upgrade at a position where you were already loaded.

I added Cory Clement and Calvin Ridley and dropped Chris Carson and Geronimo Allison. Mistake? Lateral moves?

My other RBs are solid (Gurley, DJ, and Breida) and my receivers aren't bad overall (OBJ, Tate, Golladay, Watkins, and Lockett) so it was basically just a case of exchanging backups for backups.

so Clement is a good bet to be a good play this week. Jones always takes days off during the week. Good chance he starts.
