Chapman was activated today, for anyone who missed it.
We're pretty much back to full health now. Let's make Boston wait another day to clinch this division.

Arc is now a Yankees fan? WTF is that all about? What kind of sorcery took place to make that happen?
I know. They didn't come up there and tell me. You're not shinin shoes anymore.

You've been gone a long time, B.

It's true. I finally had enough of it. I had one foot out the door after another crappy offseason that told me another non-competitive year was on the horizon - and after the mirage start, gave me that last push out by proving me right.
Baseball is fun again. Went to the stadium on Saturday and had a blast even though the comeback fell a run short. The Andujar GS was worth the price of admission. Place was going wild.
Time to tag Price. Make this fucker work and throw some pitches.
Jump on this fu*ker
Root for the Mets for like 25 years and you'll probably think differently. :)
I'd never do it in any other sport. This was just a special circumstance for a few different reasons.
It did rock the BBI world a bit and after 3 months or however long its been now, I am just finally getting to the end of my friends and acquaintances being surprised by it or not knowing. But it's done and I don't have any regrets.
It was a weird feeling the first few weeks. Especially because the Yanks and Mets had a few games against each other, but I've probably missed 2-3 games at most since I hopped the fence and it honestly feels like it's the Yankees that are "my team" now when I watch them. The excitement is natural. It's not forced.
Maybe 10 years ago this would have been harder with fewer young Bombers to latch onto. But this is kind of the beginning of a new era and it felt natural to ease in while watching youngsters like Miggy, Gleyber, Judge, Sevy, etc. who are either just getting started or haven't been around long.
Anyway. There's no conflict for me. I wish the Metsies well and hope things turn around for them, but I was at the point where Jacob deGrom was the only thing I liked about the team anymore. I'm here to stay.
As for the game... Judge has hit into some bad luck since last night, but he's getting a lot of good wood on it. Good sign. Probably not going to be long before he's tearing the cover off the ball again.
Yeah I like how he did that, and not show the ump up at all. Face down so no one can see what he's saying. No chance for the cameras to see or anyone to read his lips. Smart.
No more let up. Just gotta get Stanton and Gary out of their funks. Not sure Gary is ever going to really get it figured out this year at the plate (or behind it) but Stanton should be able to get back on track soon.
David Price is starting to sweat again...
Good things are happening with Judge back.
It does seem like that.
Good things are happening with Judge back.
Heard on the radio today the Yanks are 32 over .500 with Judge in the lineup, and 2 over without him.
So does this damn ump. It takes him throwing a ball 3 feet out of the zone to call a ball.
Inside off the plate to Stanton? Strike
Outside and high to Torres? Strike
Outside to Sanchez? Strike
None of those pitches were particularly close. I normally don’t bitch about the umps but it’s mildly annoying since this team is seemingly trying to change their approach and be more selective. This is the kind of guy that will keep them right there in “swing at everything” mode.
Staggering around like he's nipping between innings! Ball must have been knuckling..
