And we go BPA...will be another year of uncertainty at quarterback. From what i've read its Bosa & Oliver then everyone else. Not that we couldn't use one of em.

So can we pretty much still count on sucking for another 2 years? [/quote
If that's what has to happen to get Tua Tagovailoa, I'd be totally fine with it.
I've been talking about this guy for an entire year - I'm telling you guys, he's fucking awesome. He's a left handed Russell Wilson. He will be just as good.
I watch Alabama every week, and have since before Nick Saban was there. The team has basically been centered around defense and running the football. Tagovailoa can throw the ball, he's mobile, he does everything.. now trying to defend them is unfair because of the dimension he's added.
I want to be in position to draft this guy in the worst way.
I'm tired of watching another year of picks by him. I love what Eli gave this team in the past (2 S.B. wins.....and a feeling of hope). I no longer have much hope when he's playing.

Still gave us the lead on 2 TD passes in the 4th quarter on the road with an offense that couldn't run block and a defense that can't rush the passer.
Yeah, Eli's on the downside of a great career, but on the list of "shit wrong with the Giants", Eli's about halfway down. The only problem is he's old, but no one says the same thing about Brady, Brees, Roethlisberger, Rivers.
I’d be fine with that, but they would likely have to make a Mahomes like trade to move up for him. I’d expect with another year of bringing in talent, we will not be drafting top 5 in 2020.
out of App State. He's way under the radar, already has some huge blowout wins this year and almost beat Penn State in OT. Kid is crazy good and will show out at the combine.

Most frustrating thing is that we were supposedly sky high on Mahomes, but it was a draft after we won 11 games... for the first time since 2008.
We should be in better position next year because I don't see us being any good next year, either.
The cost to trade up for Mahomes would have been too steep - but we won't win 11 games next year and will be closer to the top. If we have any shot at Tua, we should do what we need to trade up and draft him.
i don't know what you've been watching, but shea patterson is awful. He's not an nfl level quarterback.
I think you have to take a qb. Herbert is the guy I would take. Big guy with a strong arm that can move around. Ironically enough, if he was eligible, I'd take the smaller guy in Tua, but we can't keep passing up on qbs with top 5 picks
