But 1/2 game back if the Saints win tomorrow. That's pretty ridiculous to think about considering most people on this board are already saying the season is completely over, some even going so far as to say we should already purposely tank for a better 2019 draft position.

If the saints win skins are 2-2. Nobody would have more wins then us. It would be in our power to stay on top. That’s how.

I'm not sure what you mean by "in our power to stay on top". We would have been behind by 1/2 game, there's a difference between that and being tied. The 1/2 game means that while we have the same number of wins, Washington would still have an "extra" game get 1 more win that us.
But, I mean, as of now, if the Skins lose tomorrow, it is still actually "in our power to be on top", because if we win the rest of our games we would automatically win the division.
