But I think it’s possible the tide turned yesterday.
That was the first glimpse of a real offense since 2015. The line seems to be improving each week. The defense is probably going to get Vernon back.
We have a struggling Eagles team coming in on Thursday night which hopefully levels the playing field a little bit, followed by a currently also 1-4 Falcons team, followed by Alex Smith and the Redskins.
When we talked about the first half of the schedule many predicted 3-5 would have been a decent job. We can still get there. 4-4 is still doable in my mind.
I’m not ready to give up yet. Not now. Not with the arrow pointing up. And definitely not in this division.
I don't care about normal excuses. The 10 points the officials gave them is absurd. Two insane plays added 10 points and a loss.
Get with 2018 technology, I dont care if games take 4 hours. Get it right.
Collins INT drop turned WR hitting him in the back gets a flag from the ref AFTER the plays was over is explainable. That gave Panthers 7 instead of a punt.
End of game rush by McCaffrey stopped 1.5 yards short and still given a first down instead of clock running, fire drill 63 yard attempt. Come on man. Either stop and review or get it right. Complete bullsh*t and changed an NFL outcome. Its disturbing and ruining any chance I give NFL another 25 years. I have already watched for almost 40, I can't watch games that clearly are a fix attempt. Yeah, I am fuming, but I firmly believe a ref or two were on the take. The Collins calls, HIS BACK WAS THE THE PLAYER AND HE HAD THE BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
for such horrible performance on and off the field that game yesterday was stolen from them. The NFL is very fortunate to have a unique fool proof business model because any customer in any other business would never tolerate that level of incompetence or dishonesty. Yet I'll be watching Thursday.
5:30 and asked me how the game went. I said it was like getting kicked in the nuts. She asked me if she should kick me in my nuts to see if my opinion changes. I told her honestly, I would have preferred it over what I saw on TV.
but if there’s a silver lining, we played hard and didn’t quit.
Go Saints!
I view you as a voice of reason on here, how do you feel? Any chance yesterday can be a turn of the corner type game?
I’m smart too. I didn’t come on BBI all of last week. Didn’t even lurk. 😊😊
But yes, I said yesterday that if Philly and Dallas would lose (they thankfully did) and the Saints stay tough at home, we’d have a shot for this division as I felt the team on O had their best game to date. They played hard and with heart, imo.
Obviously, Thursday’s Philly game is HUGE and we need to get that win. So, of course I was livid with the officiating and the loss was painful, but as mostly evident on BBI after the game and today, there appears to be a calm here. Almost a near unanimous feeling that we MAY HAVE turned that corner. Stay tuned

Since the choice was made for me by watching the game, I eventually deferred, so no, no literal kick in nuts yesterday. However, Thursday is coming fast so maybe I just have her do it and get on with my night and not have to watch.
I’m still pissed off too ... bad players get released, bad coaches get fired, bad refs get their contracts renewed. ... but it’s not surprising ... the networks hired former directors of officiating for so called expert analysis, and everyone of them is a big zero. The NFL has become so “pussified” and totally incompetent. Thank god college football has retained at least some degree of watchability.
I'm still pissed as well ..
Agree the offense is starting to click O-line improving
unfortunately our nemesis is coming to town for a freaking night game and coming off a loss . Not a good combo at
this stage . Swear the schedule makers hat this team
instead of hey Cowboy's travel to play the Giants but Nooo
we get one of the Toughest and arguably top 5 team in the NFL in the Jags ..
Thursday night games usually favor the home team but we haven't been good at home either .
Don't discount the possibility. I was firmly in a "Get Better" type of season. Never was in the "Win Now" camp. But with the state of the NFC East and it still is anyone's for the taking, there is part of me that would root like hell to win the East and punch a ticket to the playoffs. I am totally o.k. with rooting for what others will think is the luckiest worst team to win a SB.

If the league is completely fine with being in a state of shit, why should I care what happens in these games? They're not worthy of my aggravation.
