how did everyone do? I’m in a whopper of a match right now, up 52 with Brees against Kamara, AP, Thompson and Watson. Will be rooting for both run games getting shot down.
Have brees and Thompson and he has reed. 6 points per passing TD. .5 PPR.
Really need brees to make up for no TDs last week.
My other league I squeaked one out despite getting 3 catches combined from cooks, cooper, and Jeffrey. Cooper is not dependable. 1 target all game???? I’d be livid if I were him.
he was on his way to another 100+ yard week with a TD already under his belt. He’s the only player worth watching on that offense too.
I was able to trade Breida and Corey Davis for Fournette. Nobody is really winning that deal yet. I just hope I can hang on to a playoff spot while my RBs take over.
I lost in one of my legacy leagues where Gould got me 0 points and Mariota got me 6 points and change. My season is basically over. I am 0-5. Sucks.
In my other legacy league I am starting to hit my stride right now so I am happy about that.
I was playing my wife in one league this week. She was asking my advice. I told her to play the Panthers D against the Giants over the Steelers against ATL. Well, that move cost her 12 points. Also, she asked about Robbie Anderson. I said he has been awful and you are better off playing Callaway. That move really killed her. She is pissed. I told her to run her own team then. Would anybody have played Anderson over Callaway or PIT over CAR?
but I really just don’t like Fournette. He’s not going to last long in this league. But for you, if you can weather the storm he will hopefully give you a good second half.
Out of my 5 leagues I have victories wrapped up in 3 of them, with very good to great fantasy point output on the week.
There are two undecided leagues.
In my 10 team standard, I'm down 16.6 points, but I still have Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara left. Obviously, I feel good about my chances. 1 TD and 110 yards combined by Kamara and Thomas is all I need. Not a guaranteed victory, but I would be surprised if I don't get there.
In my 10 team, 5-keeper league, I am down 5.94 points with just my kicker, Dustin Hopkins, left to play. Hopkins has scored at least 6 fantasy points in all three of his games thus far this season, and we're in the dome tonight, so again, feeling pretty confident. Funny thing about that league is that I was going to go without a kicker. I didn't have a drop candidate on my team, and because of Bears DEF on bye I had to add a DEF and drop my kicker, and decided I would play my opponent without one. Well, after Zeke's substandard performance last night, I was still down 5.94 points with nobody left to play, and my opponent had no players left to play. So I went to free agency and pulled Dustin Hopkins (who I knew was still out there going into yesterday's games), and put him in my lineup. I did have to waive Mike Williams to make room for him on my roster, but you have to do what you have to do to get the win. A win is more important that my 4th receiver.
Plus, I have the 2nd waiver priority, so I will probably get him back if I want him. I'm going to need a WR from waivers to play this week, with both Golladay and Tate on bye.
Brady produced, so did J. Conner, McCaffrey and DJ. Up by 25 points on my opponent. He has B. Watson tonight, while I have Michael Thomas and Jordan Reed. I am fairly confident it is over.

Closest our league came to a veto and I've never been in any league that vetoed a trade. I've been in fantasy football leagues since the 90's.
You went 0-1 on DK. What kind of guy invites you to a contest and then doesn't put in a lineup?
I had every intention to, in fact I saved a lineup. But this weekend was crazy in a lot of ways, there was an Oktoberfest Party, then there was a UFC watch party in which all the beer I brought got drank by other guests and so I hit my buddy's bourbon really hard, wife got pissed and left me so my drunk ass walked home 7 miles barefoot at 3am (all I brought were flip flops). Then dealt with the hangover and severe chafing the next morning.

I like it that way (though it's the only contest I've done) - and it uses our league rules so take a look before picking a lineup once you are invited (which I believe will be Friday) (ppr, 6pt per passing TD, bonuses for some things). by the end of the 4pm games we know the winner.

I like Breida a lot but he can't stay healthy. He missed training camp with an injury, then he had a hyperextended knee, then he had a shoulder injury, and now it's a "mid-ankle" sprain.
He's a very impressive athlete and I would bet on a larger role even when the other guys come back.
Super athletic, big, and he looks good catching the ball. Very smooth although he did fail to get his feet down on one catch.
He's raw but man he looks the part with the movement that will work in the NFL.
I did. Left him on my bench and didn't need him, I read a few scouting reports on him, and all said "special teamer".
injuries maybe give him a shot. he looked decent yesterday. I think though as Cobb and Allison return, he'll be relegated to the bench. I don't think they view him above either of those two. but...if those two can't stay healthy good to know he's got some experience with Rodgers.

Unless Clement gets injured Smallwood's value is limited. Breida, banged up or not is a much better fantasy player especially in PPR leagues. I'm not dropping that kind of value but that's just me.

Super athletic, big, and he looks good catching the ball. Very smooth although he did fail to get his feet down on one catch.
He's raw but man he looks the part with the movement that will work in the NFL.

Nope. Breida owns that backfield. Clement, Smallwood and Sproles will be a giant RBBC.

I did. Left him on my bench and didn't need him, I read a few scouting reports on him, and all said "special teamer".
injuries maybe give him a shot. he looked decent yesterday. I think though as Cobb and Allison return, he'll be relegated to the bench. I don't think they view him above either of those two. but...if those two can't stay healthy good to know he's got some experience with Rodgers.

I like Breida a lot but he can't stay healthy. He missed training camp with an injury, then he had a hyperextended knee, then he had a shoulder injury, and now it's a "mid-ankle" sprain.
Unless Clement gets injured Smallwood's value is limited. Breida, banged up or not is a much better fantasy player especially in PPR leagues. I'm not dropping that kind of value but that's just me.
I got Ingram back in time for the Breida injury so i'm not worried about it.
I'd also rather add a guy like Foreman than Smallwood.
