I am continuing my superstition of wearing my weathered "2009 Inaugural Season" Yankees fitted for all HOME games they play. I started it during the WC game and am going to continue to rock this one for home games only. I rock it backwards so the patch is on display. Figured a little WS champion juju might connect.
after yesterday's off day. But apparently this hammy is more than they initially let on. Sucks. He is a great all-around CF. But at least we have a playoff tested vet in Gardner to replace him.

I do not think the drop off, except for power and the arm is that great. Still think Gardner is a better outfielder. He doesn't have Hick canon, but he is damn accurate.
To me it was like this is my house and I'll do as I want in it. Definitely felt like a bit of good gamesmanship making the Sox wait for him. Power move IMO.

I believe the Sox came out today saying they won’t start him Game 4
That would be my thought if I were Boston. But maybe they put price back in for game 5 :)

I am too. Eovaldi has looked good. But we can take pitches to make him try and get that cutter over and sit fastball until we get to the pen.

Agreed. I don't have a problem with his pitch selection on those pitches, just the location. Make them look hittable and not easy to lay off.
