NYY:
1. Aaron Hicks (CF)
2. Aaron Judge (RF)
3. Didi Gregorius (SS)
4. Giancarlo Stanton (DH)
5. Luke Voit (1B)
6. Neil Walker (3B)
7. Gary Sanchez (C)
8. Gleyber Torres (2B)
9. Brett Gardner (LF)
C. Sabathia: 153.0 IP, 9-7, 3.65
Clearly going defense-first tonight. Andujar not in the lineup at all, though he will certainly get an AB at some point I'm sure.
All fucking hands on deck. Forget last night. Doesn't matter what the score was, it's over and done with.
Do or die. Let's go, Yanks.
Hey, we all can dream, no?
Sounds good to me.
We can't go down in this game with only threatening in the one inning (the 5th) At least we have to give them a scare in the 9th.

First baseman...
If anything he needs to be moved to the OF.
Why is he not a 1B? He is not super mobile so it would seem he would be far more of a fit at 1B.
He’s not tall enough IMO...

Judge gets a single. Didi a HBP. Then Stanton hits one to Fordham University off Kimbrel to tie it up. Sanchez wins it with a solo shot.

dont hold your breathe man. they will go down like a sweet muffin

and they're not going away anytime soon. Still have work to do on this roster.
A lot of work by the looks of it. Need to find that elusive bonafide ace of Severino isn’t going to claim that spot
Definitely can't move forward under the belief that Severino is the ace.

Last chance saloon
We have 3 outs left. But if we can’t get them, I’d be looking everywhere for another contact hitter with a low k-rate and obviously we need a starter.
If they think Torres can play SS, maybe Murphy would be worth pursuing.
We’re close. And we’re set up really nicely. Need a little SP help and I really think a contact hitter is what we desparately need in this lineup.
Still have an inning left. If we lose, I’m sorry. But the window is just opening back up and we have a fucking lot to look forward to.
well finishing worse than last year*
last year we seemed to just have more fight and swag

All true but Boston and Houston are just as young (for the most part) and talented. Both are better than the NYY currently. Need to surpass them.

Easier said than done!
like bentendi did earlier, but no he moves then swings at shit
boy is he due
That run means nothing. Managers are clueless at times. Big break for Yanks.
maybe someone should tell stanton?
i agree...i said same shit just a couple comments before you

Stanton is an awful at bat. He hits fastballs and mistakes.

Saw that
Stanton’s actually contributed to this team. Not a good comparison.
No way. You stick with the veteran lefty here.
