O'Hara breakdown of two Barkley runs

BestFeature : 10/10/2018 12:41 pm
Did anyone see that yesterday on the NFL Network? He showed a couple of runs where he tried to bounce it and didn't take a hole. Is this a concern? Is this something he'll improve on? Maybe it's not fair since you can probably nitpick this stuff with all running backs.
I did see one run

on Baldy's breakdowns critiquing the OL where it looked like Omameh had sealed his guy and gave SB a hole to run inside of he cut it back but SB bounced it to the outside. Omameh's guy took SB down for a 3-4 yard loss.

So yes do I think he does it, but I think he's smart enough guy that he will learn to take what the defense give him.

Do you think he's not seeing the hole or he's trying to break a long one?
Honestly

Coming into the season, I thought his Barry Sanders Syndrome would be a lot more pronounced than it has been.
Are you sure there was a hole?

"I find it hard to believe there was a hole, because Barkley didn't go there!"

I enjoyed the clip. Most startling was the final fact presented - so startling I can't almost believe it. Are we really 1-99 vs. the Eagles in having a single rusher gain more than 100 yds? That's absolutely incredible. Amazing.

Hoping Barkley can break off a few long runs somehow and become #2, but against this Eagles front I'm not sure he's going to get it pounding the ball 5 yds at a time.

Wow.
Barkley is the running back version of Eli

he's a gambler... high risk, high reward.
Do you guys realize most RBs in the NFL

if not all, will miss holes or go with their instinct to make a play on occasion? Did you think we drafted a robot?

LeVeon Bell is as patient as they come and I’ve seen him miss holes too. This isn’t a concern in the least and he’s been our best player so far this year.

Me too. I think he's improved on his Penn State video.
