I figured on hump day it was fitting ....

But after that last lost we need some upbeat stuff around here

"Always go low, kids, especially when you’ve got a fat bastard like Brandon Jacobs running at you."

He certainly wasn't fat. 270 lbs of muscle.
Not fat...
Milton : 10/10/2018 12:58 pm : link
But I always thought he should've been playing at a lighter weight. He didn't need to be 265lbs to run over people. At 245lbs he would've been just as powerful and most likely a little quicker. And the added quickness could've helped him get to the edge a little sooner and maybe avoid some of those tackles in the backfield.
"He" refers to Brandon

odd use of "fat". He was a tank. Jacobs in his prime was an exciting player to watch. Perhaps the rarest combo of size and speed I've seen at the position.

I still remember Dieion Sander's interviewing BJ during media day
GiantBlue : 10/10/2018 1:12 pm : link
before the Super Bowl in 2012. Primetime was working for NFL Network and he was wandering the booths when he came upon Jacob's answering some questions from reporters.

I believe Kurt Warner upstairs cuts to Prime and tells him to ask BJ a couple of questions. So it goes full screen to Prime as he waits patiently for BJ to finish his response to a New England Reporter.

When he is done, Prime gets conspiratorially close to BJ and asks him a question that is typically never asked of a super-star or at least a player who gets his own booth:

Paraphrasing: Brandon, As the Giants big back, it is incumbent on you to get those tough, nitty-gritty yards for first downs or even touchdowns at the goal line. Why then does it always seem like you get stopped just short all the time?

I think BJ and I were stunned simultaneously as that type of confrontational question is rarely ever asked, especially on media day where it is love and admiration!

BJ stayed professional and told the audience that he always strives to get the tough yards, the important yards, yada yada yada.......I thought he handled it beautifully.

While I didn't appreciate Prime's choice of timing for that question, I did appreciate that it wasn't the same old silly question; especially when the crazy Telemundo folks were going around asking them what underwear they were wearing.

Viva Jacobs.....I wish we had him now!

And a 4.5 40. If The Juggernaut didn't have stone hands, man he would have made a good TE...
Would love to see the hit he had

Rookie year > Pre-season > Browns

Pitch out left to Jacobs and the defender tried to hit him high.. BOOM!

Papa and Banks were all WHOAAA!

Banks - "Youthful Exuberance!"

and it began, haha!

but his wheel route catch and run TD against Philadelphia in 2011 was definitely a "jump out of my chair" play. Then Cruz's long TD a few minutes later....all in Philadelphia....good times.
He had one against the Cowboys
