Jenkins locks down Jeffrey
Ertz has a bad name cause he cant believe a guy named Ray Ray is guarding him.
Wentz meets Vernon twice and Snacks once!
Collins hasnt had an INT in awhile, good night for one.
Eli has trouble throwing tight spirals in 80 degree weather, but when it downpours - he will be throwing darts all over the place. 243 yards, 2 TDs and an obligatory INT which sends BBI into a frenzy.
Fletcher Cox is going to tackle Barkley like Mantei Teo tackled his college girlfriend. 117 and a TD - 42 yard TD run.
OBJ quiet night with 73 yards receiving and 0 yards passing.
Shepard is going to be using the goalpost as his punching bag tonight with 104 yards and 2 TDs.
Doug Pederson is going to go for it 7 times on 4th down and each time Joe Buck will cream his pants in excitement.
And last but not least. Alec Ogletree will make a stop on a run play, but the referee Ron Tolbert will throw a flag for roughing the passer. On the next series, Eli will get pulled down by the facemask, Tolbert will throw a flag but the Back Judge will come in and reverse saying the defender was doing the John Cena "You Cant See Me!
Giants 24 Shitbirds 13
Oh wait, that was our 4th qtr lead in 2010. Karma
Which spawns the never happy crowd to hitch about how the giants won.
I just realized my complaint above is born from negativity.
I do live life blind at times.
4-9 prior to that.
Screw the She-Gals... Gmen win 24-17 .
I was with you last week as well. I even had the point total right for the Giants!
Here's the funny thing. The Eagles might be the worst team we have played all year. Dallas would be right there with them. But NO, Jacksonville, and Carolina are better. Houston is debatable.
31-24 Giants win as the D makes a stop in the final minute around mid-field.
The Giants OL not getting mauled by the Eagles DL? I’ll believe it when I see it.
Fox should just cue in grating 8 bit background music during the broadcast, slightly more bearable than what's his face Aikman gay crush.
That's what I'm talking about!!! I have no idea why, but I feel this team is going to take off, starting tonight. You can already see a transformation in Sunday's game, which they should have won. Philly is still a good team, and probably still the best in the division, but on a short week in bad weather with Ajayi and Sproles out, I think the Giants have a great opportunity to win tonight and carry some momentum with extra rest into Atlanta next Monday night. I am feeling it!!!
ELi is efficient in the rain (Eagles passs rush slowed a bit by weather)
Barkley is magic every week
Shep clutch on 3rd down
20-17 Giants win
Season turns around - not for the playoffs, but in that they are competitive for the rest of the year and win more than they lose.

Ha! Saquan can score a TD using the Tecmo zigzag method that always assured not getting tackled from behind
I sure as hell hope we win and realize that because of how poor the division is, we can make our season relevant again if we do. But unless the weather creates a more random environment, or equalizes things, I don't see it.
The Giants are still a pretty crappy team.

We are having none of that here!
After seeing nothing but losing for about a year and a half now, I've just grown to expect it.

Wow a year and a half! An eternity! Go ask a Brown fan how they feel.
We're not Cleveland? Big fucking deal. We should have higher standards here. Not being the Browns isn't a valid argument or reason not to criticize a football team that has been bungling their way through things since mid-2012 and made the playoffs just one time since 2011-12.
Just accept it. We suck. You'll feel much better about it.

I dont have time for this.
We just went 3-13 last year and literally had one of the most disastrous Giants seasons in franchise history.
"We are not at those levels yet" might be your POV, but it's not mine. We've been bad for a pretty long while now with a one year outlier and that coach was already fired. We are on our third head coach in four years. We've fielded historically poor defenses, an offense that took about 30 something games between scoring 30 points in a league where offensive production is as favored as ever, and we're again off to a terrible start this year and would already be out of the playoff mix if not for this putrid division.
We shouldn't need to see a repeat of the 70's to be annoyed with the state of the Giants and expect better.

Ah jeez, I feel bad for you guys who keep re-energizing with this false hope every week.

They really are but with all the bad breaks we have to be due for some. I am taking these games a week at a time and I still don't think we win more than 4 or 5 all year but I am tired of wallowing in our suckitude.
Yes!
Listen we all know as a whole the Giants arent good. But lets not act like all these teams are 3 scores better than us. Let OBJ and Barkley make big plays. Get a break here and there. Shit, did anyone think the Bills would beat the Vikings in the whoop down of the year?
Get a few wins, and watch our fortunes change.
Be thankful that we’ve had such joy, the likes of which has only been shared (as often) by two other teams in nearly 20 years.
So we have sucked for longer than we’d like. Be fucking thankful and grow a pair. There is that light at the end of the current tunnel and it’s not an oncoming train
No, it means that with all that we have been rewarded with, we should consider weathering this 7 season suck storm and realize nearly 30 other teams have not experienced the multiple euphorias we were fortunate to experience.
They have and do suck at the moment, but at least we have great stuff to hang on to. Lament, criticize, get down on them all you want, that’s your perfect right as a fan, I am really lucky to have experienced what I have.
Nobody, should ever have to go through a 17 year playoff drought that many of us experienced from 1964-1980. Those that have, appreciate the recent past that helps us get through the current and really shitty times
I believe Shurmur when he said things this weekend galvanized the locker room. Whether it was what OBJ said, his apology, how the game went Sunday or all of the above.
Getting OV back on defense can't hurt either.
I'm liking a 24-13 win for the Giants.
Just accept it. We suck. You'll feel much better about it.
Yeah but you have to scream it "SERENITY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!"

I hear ya. I am too. But I'm even more tired of getting my hopes up thinking this team will turn a corner only for them to just turn around and lose again, and again, and again in every way imaginable... dropped INT's, TD's not called TD's, career-long FG's at the gun... just every which way this team has been totally fucked. I'm so tired of the Giants being a doormat and a joke.
If we had a rookie QB or something, I'd find more hope in the losing because I'd be happy watching him develop - and I was absolutely not a "WE MUST DRAFT A QB" guy, I was fine with Barkley because I realize he probably was legitimately the best player in this draft and if we weren't crazy about the QB's, so be it.
Bah. I'm just fucking grumpy. I'm so tired of seasons not even being relevant in November.
Please win and shut me up. I'll be delighted to be wrong. I fucking hate the Eagles.
