That beating the iggles is such an accomplishment that the morale booster lasts all season, into the playoffs and probably into the daily lives of the players.

the Eagles you need a decent line to hold up against their pressure. As our line goes so goes our season.

Is the first game against the Eagles a barometer for how the season will go? I don't know.

I do think it might give us an idea of how well we match up against 1/3 of our opponents for the division. With that in mind, the stat is not as surprising as it appears at first glance.

Don't forget that losing to the Eagles might not just indicate that the team is not good enough for the playoffs - it might also indicate that the Eagles are a very good team that year (with the contrapositive also being true). Again, given that they represent one third of the competition for the division title, it's not as surprising as you might think that there is a correlation between these two things.

I've said the same but it is hard for them to stay with it when their line still struggles with simple combo blocks at times. They get man handled at times. They certainly need to at least keep opponents honest but this teams identity should always be around running the ball.
