Don't force a bad trade because of one position shortcoming one week.
That's a bad trade for you.
He's not making the trade to get a RB to start in place of Lewis, he's making the trade to get Brady and would have to start Lewis as a result of giving up Lindsay.
Don't love the trade, but if you like Brady more than Wentz then go for it.
Lindsay is still technically in a shared backfield even if he is the feature back, but it's a shitty offense. Wilkins is probably droppable.
And Brady is a good sized upgrade on Wentz.
There were stats showing how much more proficient Brady is with Gronk and Edelman in the lineup together. And add in White, Gordon, Hogan, Michel - that offense is due to explode if they stay healthy.
We start 11 guys every week, so rosters get really deep, and there usually isn’t much on the ww. Someone just dropped Larry Fitz. I would not normally need to consider another WR, but Michael Thomas is on bye and TY Hilton is out this week. Right now I have Antonio Callaway slotted into my last spot. Do I drop Callaway for Fitzy? I’m leaning towards no right now, given how awful Arizona and Fitz have both been, plus due to the fact that Higgins is out for Cleveland and Antonio looks good for nice volume. It is also a keeper league, further pushing me not to make the move.

Except it's still nonsensical because Brady is not an upgrade from Wentz. Wentz threw for 33 TDs and only 7 INTs last year in 13 games, and was 3rd in FF with 25.1 standard fantasy points per game. Elite QB1 numbers. Brady was good, but was QB7 in points per game.
Again, you are getting worse at both positions. Your trading partner is selling you the idea that he has to get the better part of the deal on the RB side for the "downgrade" from Brady to Wentz, when actually, it should be YOU getting the better RB in the deal because YOU would be taking the downgrade.

No. Fitz is completely not ownable. I would take the chance on a TD by Callaway than play Fitz.
Cooks and Morris would be my play. Breida is very likely out vs Green Bay, and although that has the potential to be a bad game script for Morris at Lambeau Field, he will get opportunities. Cooper I have no confidence in, and Jeffery will get Jackrabbit. And Jenkins is going to be in Jeffery's pocket all night.
Sanu (already have Ridley going)?
or
Josh Gordon (who I still have no idea about)?
Gordon has the potential to be must-start every week soon, but he's not there yet. I LOVE Sterling Shepard tonight. The Giants will likely be playing from behind, Eli is likely going to need to throw the ball another 40 times, and no Engram again. I actually like Shepard for 6-80-1 tonight, with upside for more, and I'll take that from my WR2 anytime.
Have Cincy as I used them last week. Going up against Pitt this week. My waiver options are..
Seattle @ Oak
Colts @ NYJ
Or do I dare roll with our Giants tonight?
WR Edelman v. KC ... or RB Carson @Oak in the Flex? Standard scoring.
I'm favored to win in this matchup and I'm thinking Edelman has a higher floor. I usually like to go higher floor when I'm favored to win. But either way I just want to know what you guys think is the better bet.
Sanu (already have Ridley going)?

Josh Gordon (who I still have no idea about)?
I would go Josh Gordon. I mean he scored a pretty awesome TD on a bomb from Brady in his first game. Tom put it up into double coverage so he clearly already trusts Gordon. An incredibly gifted WR playing for the Pats at home against a crappy D in a game that is assured to be a shootout (highest predicted point total of week 6 btw)... give me Gordon.

That said, I would still say Shep has the higher floor, but I don't think it's so high of a floor that it trumps the upside of the Gordon play. And I guarantee you they already have designed plays to Gordon they are planning to use so I would still say he has a decent floor. TB/BB leave no stone unturned in terms of using every possible advantage in their arsenal, so Gordon is going to get his targets and I trust Tom is gonna put it on him.
BTW, regarding the Sanu play, I never understood people who think if they already have another receiver on that team going that they can't use the other one. For instance right now I have Thielen and I'm trying to trade for Diggs. It's not always a good idea but when you KNOW the offense is going to produce a lot why not do it? The two receivers act as a hedge against one another. If Diggs happens to have no catches, that means Thielen must have had 15 catches (especially because Minni can't run the ball). The ATL v. TB game has the 2nd highest predicted point total of the week and TB has a horrible defense, so I think both Ridley and Sanu are going to eat and they similarly hedge one another's production.
Again I wouldn't always do it but in situations where there is sure to be an offensive explosion and particularly in the passing game I say do it. And it's worked for me a few times also using the Jets running backs because it was clear the Jets were going run the ball a hell of a lot with a rookie QB and solid run-blocking OL.

Sanu just doesn't get enough. Roll with Shepard.

I would check about wind for tonight. Rain I'm ok with, wind would hurt the passing game.
My current team:
Qb Ryan, Luck
RB Gordon, Fournette, Drake, Blue, Foreman
Wr Hilton, Sanders, Marvin Jones, Anderson
TE Burton, Olsen
We play 2 Rb, 2 wr 1flex
What will be Bells role going forward with Conner? I am leaning to No on the trade.

No way I make that trade. Gordon is your best player and is putting up top 5 numbers right now.

Why would you do that? Gordon you know is a top 5 RB.

Pats himself on the back.
