I understand that Eli is past his prime. He's not the QB is once was, but the outright disrespect of so called Giants fans on the game thread is truly disgusting. I am signing out for tonight and will root for my team without the nastiness and negativity. Peace.

It’s possible to be reasonable...I love Eli, always will, and have long defended him. I’m also very capable of admitting he’s really not playing well.

We don’t have to bash him, and we don’t have to blame everyone else but him to defend him. There is a middle ground.

but this is the NFL. You have to produce and he simply can't do it any more and it is obvious. I want to see the kid from Richmond. At least there I some mobility and a chance to extend some plays.

A legend is take himself out of the game. It’s over for him. And I’m one of his biggest supporters. It’s over. At what point is it ok to see if another guy can get this team moving. They don’t even have to win. Just show that change can spark life in this group of bums.

if it were me, I wouldn't resign or refuse the money either.

I can blame the Giants for not sticking through benching him last season, for a couple of games at least, when the offense was completely broken. They caved in to the backlash and that was that.
